NSU TTS needs to be driven carefully as it is very easy to kill the engine by downshifting.
Imp is a bit slower in my hands but stable.

Not yet decided what to drive  :P ::)

The maximum I could achieve.   :)

After a short but nice fight with Geoffers, I had a spin on lap 6 at the top of the mountain and decided to
bring my pit stop forward, but i messed this one up because i forgot to delete the tire change  :P.

Only nocatu's bad luck saved me the second place in class.

One of my all time favorite tracks.

Grats to the winners and thanks to Nappe for organizing  :thumbup1:

Fairly lonely race after an early scrap with Kurt. My only concern was whether or not to make a pitstop. I knew I could do over 20 laps on a tankful but when Kurt pitted early & was over a minute behind, I started to short shift & lift early for the corners to save fuel & get to 21 laps. It then depended on how many times I would be lapped & when it became clear that it would only be once I had to stop for fuel. Ironically stopping meant  that I did get lapped a second time. ::)  Finally my only major mistake was when I overshot the very last corner of the race & had to do a U-turn in the run off area.

Congrats to the podium.

I know full well I have to have a near perfect run in the race to compete with Manfred, and I just wasn't anywhere near perfect here.

2 very large errors cost me around 25 seconds maybe, so although I eventually did find good pace in the Escort it was a vain chase. The longer pitstop for the larger car also did no favours, but my choice to take it, if only I had not spun it all away on lap 1...

Grats to Manfred, fast and consistent as always.

Also many thanks to all the guys that I caught and lapped, the standard of driving was impeccable as far as I could see on what is a very tricky track to find room on to let people through, I was very grateful for the help!

Internet had been acting up since Monday morning and in fact it had gone down moments before I jumped in for qualifying so I could see that "connection lost" message coming from miles away.
A couple of interesting laps in the beginning but both Geoff and Kurt kept gaining time after the first few laps. Made a couple of mistakes in the downhill section so lost a total of 15-20 seconds before the stop so even if Kurt ended up changing tyres by mistake, he managed to get back in front after my stop and would probably have stayed there regardless of my connection issues as he had great pace and the only place where I seemed to gain some time was the uphill section.

Wayy before the start I knew it would need some serious luck to be able to hang on with Mini for top places and while I did had 2 bigger errors, it had close to none effect to the result. I sliced up 1,7 seconds of my best lap time during the race, but it was still nowhere near to competition.

Nevertheless, it was not a bad race. Others were just faster. :)
