Bad track for a wet race. Feels wasted as in dry it's a great track for close racing. But I guess in RL they can't pick their weather also either.

Now then where do I start?
Great qualify session for me, I got 3rd I think.
For the race I decided on a 1 stop strategy with starting on wets, I did have stupidly long gear ratios, however that was so the car was drivable for me and less likely to spin on exiting the corners.
Was in 7th place untill lap 28-29ish where I span on the exit to turn 1 due to clipping the grass on the outside, this allowed APEX to pass me and then there were a couple of minor off's, however this only lost me a couple of seconds per time. Finished the race in 8/10 so all in a good race for me.
Cya all next week.
Chears guys.

Nice race all. I was happy to see people pitting before me as I was struggling to make my soft slicks grip the track for the first 13 laps. The track seemed to be drying up a bit at around lap 12 - 13 so I stayed out a bit longer than I had originally planned. This enabled me to take the lead for a while as everyone in front of me pitted. After my own stop I was a few places down but, sure that most drivers in front of me would pit a 2nd time. I had enough fuel to get to the end and hopefully my hard wets would last as well, as long as it did not dry up again. It did not. I worked my way back up to 2nd place as others pitted or had problems. Jon was in 1st at this point and had a big lead. When he eventually pitted again, he came out right in front of me. I put as much pressure on Jon as I could while his tyres were still cold but, I could not make a pass. A few laps later and he was building a lead again. Great racing and difficult to get the strategy right. Thanks for taking part all, see you next time.

Strange race Started on slicks with full fuel and planned to dive into the pits when the rain came to top up and change to wets, then try to run to the end. So much for strategy Unfortunately I was unable to take on fuel and after a second attempt failed it was pointless continuing. I can't spare the time to fluff around with wet/dry/inter setups these days, so will probably give the rest of this series a miss.

I was quite surprised to come first in qualifying as I didn't think the Morgan had it in it at this track. The weather conditions really made this a very interesting race, I was glad for the rain because TT had me beat easily and made a nice pass on me ealry on. When the rain came my soft slicks lost all temperature and I had difficultly controlling the car so I pitted and took soft wets back and front, fortunately soft slicks and soft wet tyre pressures were about the same so It was a straight swap. I came out in 4th or 5th and held a steady gap to the leaders for a while. Then the rain started to dry up and my softs started overheating and the car's handling was just starting to go off, at this point I was praying for rain and the rain came heavy Now my soft wets came into there own and I closed down the leaders very quickly and took the lead after TT pitted for the 2nd time. The car was feeling great now and I could've lasted the race but I thought I'd take another pitstop to just be sure because I had a decent lead. When I came out of the pits I had had H@L right on my tail, I knew if I got my tyres up to temp without any accidents I'd be away and after a few laps the fresh rubber allowed me to pull a little lead out before the rain stopped! My tyres totally overheated but with only 4 laps to go and quite fresh rubber I had a nice run in. Nice race everybody

Considering I have a flu ... I'm quite satisfied with the result. One of the rare sensations was passing Jon. Your tyres were red hot, Jon. Well, the miracle soon faded away when the rain started and I had to pit. There was no way I could keep on driving on slicks - hats off to those who could. Or maybe they should have tried it with a Viper. How's that grammar / tense wise? Anyways, hard wets were a good choice for the remainder of the race and I just kept it on track, not racing really. All in all it was a better event than I expected.

Very exciting race even though I was driving pretty much alone after the first few laps. Started with soft slicks and swapped for hard wets as soon as the rain started, after that it was about trying to stay between the lines and making the tyres last, even tried cooling them off the line Schumacher-style when the rain ceased. In the end quicksilver and APEX were closing the gap quickly but apparently couldn't quite make it before the end. I do like this real world weather, however I've been wondering why we insist on these tracks, maybe we should try racing in the southern hemisphere at this time of the year?
