We have now started the task of processing the registrations. This will take a few days, after which I will reopen this thread for reserve registrations.
Thanks for your patience.

Registration is now closed. I will reopen the thread in a day or two for additional drivers to sign up, either as reserves, or, depending on numbers, as additional full time drivers.

Why is it that spammers can be bothered to jump through hoops to join a forum but can't be arsed to rub two brain cells together for long enough to actually find out what UKGTR is actually about?!

How are the sign ups going - do we anticipate having alternate Sundays for different divisions of the Enduro league on a Sunday Night? I haven't had a count up but I think most people are wanting to run in Endurance so I would guess yes.

The more I play with these cars the more I like them. They're very "soft" compared to the GTR cars but that just means you can take more liberties, and get more feedback. ukV8supercars.org anyone?

They be not magic, They be stupid big 5litre engines (if i remember rightly), with suspension etc to match.
5.7l, same as the 'Vette, in fact. Having taken then C5R back out last in a pointless attempt to actually get a GTRank, I realised they really are very, very similar in feel, just a little less extreme. Definitely worthy of a mini-series or something when the final release comes out.

They're fun to drive in the same way as the Corvette - very forgiving. Can't help feeling they've got "magic" suspension though because they seem to just glide over the bumps in a way that the GTR cars most definitely don't.

SRou / Announcements / Season 1 race days

Based on the survey, I'm going to take an executive decision that: Series | will run on | Endurance Championship | Sunday Evenings | GT Sprint | Wednesday Evenings | N-GT Sprint | Tuesday Evenings |
Special one off fun races like the Elise single make challenge will run on Monday nights. These are all provisional and subject to server availability, but I don't anticipate there being a problem there. Assuming that there are enough entrants for the Endurance championship, we will run two divisions of 24, on alternate weeks. The Sprint Cups will both run one division each, with a race every week.

Apart of the ruling the important thing is the gentlemen agreement: is anytime I slow down because there is a car stopped in a place like Kemmel (over 250 Kph) I get passed I will stop slowing down and sooner or later this will result in a big one that will ruin the day and a week of setup work to a lot of people. GTR gives us a big problem here because the replay doesn't show yellow flags, so it's almost impossible to enforce any sort of not passing under yellow rule.
