I had (seems like have) a problem with my controller. I qual2 it started shifting on its own usually down and usually in a tight turn. I sup twice in race because of that. As I don't use any game help (except clutch) it must be a controller problem, micro switches gone, i suppose. That means I'll at least be without a wheel for a few days for repairs. Maybe I'll have to buy new one. I really hope new momo will be working well as I read a lot about this 80% bug...

Anyway, I'll try to participate in races and hopefully I'll be ready for season1.

I've had problems with double downshifts, ie. I press the paddle once and it downshifts twice. I've now got round it by assigning keys to the paddles (U for up and D for down!) in the Logitech Profiler, not just as single keypresses but as commands (key down, 0.1s pause, key up), which seems to have cured it.

I've started to get double downshifts over the past week with my Formula Force. It twice put me off the track in Q2 last night.
That, and the excessive play in the thing has prompted me to just order a DFP and have done with. But I'm thinking- is this a Logitec problem in general?

I have the DFP and had the double-downshift problem, the fix Dave described has sorted it out totally though, not had a double downshift in the two weeks I've been using the fix.

It might be a Logitech problem but it's easy to fix.

Pops.

Ahh nuts!

Well I guess I know how to fix it if/when it happens, thanks Pops.

It took me a while to figure out how to implement a pause in the keypress sequence so if you get stuck just shout.
