This is the first race of the new season. I will give at least 2 weeks notice for the race announcements from now on. Remember that the results of these races will be recorded permanently on the SROuk web site so get practising.

The Lower Endurance will be 4 races using the GT2 cars.
If GTR Evo proves popular then we will change over to that for a 4 races championship once the GT2 championship is complete.

Just noticed that the server was still running Super GT's at Enna, so have restarted the server with GT2's at Algarve.

so come on then, whats everyone racing with this season ? Not sure whether to take my trusty Porsche steed or try something else. Just did a 1:45.2 (40mins race fuel) in the 997 after half hour praccy. Tyre wear seems low here and hard to get some temps into the tyres. Shame we never got a few more GT2s into the mix, like the vette, aston and ford GT.

I agree. Don't know which car I'll take yet. We use this class so rarely I forgot what I didn't drive yet. Noz sure I like 2x fuel, though. Extra weight takes fun out of this class. But I understand the strategic reason for this decission.

bit quiet round here 1night before the race and still only a handful of posts. Anyone turning up? couple of questions:- 1) can we have engine health re-used now in our racing series. I always thought it was crap that we can run the engines at full revs all the time. People should run the risk of engine problems if they abuse the engines rev range and their gear changes. 2) can we also start using flag rules? Never understood why we didnt Having just run a season over at RD using them, where they worked very well, particularly blue flags in qually and race, and yellows... it baffles me that we dont. As you were

I'm confussed, to my knowledge, we've always run this setting on normal(ie you slowly damage your engin for consistantly going in the red with your revs) I'll be there unless my mrs has planned on another Sunday baby delivery (just to make me miss a race!)

With Legzy (first time for everything ) I thought the change we made to engine health was they simply all start at 100% healthy rather than the random health levels the game used. I've certainly been able to blow engines up since these changes were introduced.

Managed to do 45's in the 997.
Shows how long you've been away MJ! Yeah, engine health does drop but its not going to drop so quick that your going to struggle to finish a race. No racecar is that fragile!
We've also always used flag rules, however qually might just be handled differently between games.
