My processor is a Pentium dualcore 3.2G with 4G Ram however my GPU is only an ATI5670 so it is not really anywhere near the minimum spec for RRE. It runs the game smoothly offline but is a bit stuttery with lots of cars on track. PS: Very sorry to Reinhard for spoiling your race

A good race, even though I was not very competetive. This was my first RRE event where I didn't experience any problems at all, and that was nice feature for a change.

Ok. I am running on an ancient core2duo 2.6G, the GPU is a decent Nvidia970 (I thinK) but maybe because of the amount of scenery, whereas I can normally run smooth on low res on this machine tonight it was getting quite choppy over the start line, maybe this track is a higher than normal demand? Ah I think I understand Reinharts dilema... I had left a photo of DTM92 cars on the event page Use steam to monitor fps, always have vsync off for all games, see what your lowest fps is and then set max fps using MSI afterburner to your average lowest fps. I find setting max fps to either 60, 90, 120, 180 fps works best for me but it really depends on your monitor. If you have a dirty phone line, it can cause problems even if your download speed is fine. also make sure you reset your modem at least once a week,

Geoffers used to have occasional conn trouble in P&G with our server, for some it's solid, for others not always so.
Yeh that was some time ago when I was on AOL, speed of that was quite slow, use BT now & it is much more stable & a lot faster. Maybe try turning off your Internet Security/Anti-virus for the race. After race run a full scan.

If he doesn't register then perhaps we should boot him from races. Then he may get the message.

My gestapo alter ego says people should be shot after 2 guest drives.. My racing driver side says the more racers the better. Somewhere in the middle is probably reasonable. For me if people want to race with us, then they should register It makes it more friendly, in reality as long as they are decent types they just can't score points. Most people are interested in scoring points, even if they are not competing for the top 3 places. Anyway, please could you register Larry? Err, how do people register anyway, I may be blind this morning, but I am struggling to find a link.

The forum login page has a link to register, I'm sure there are other ways too.
Personally I think it's a bit rude not to register, someone must be supplying him with passwords too as these are not visible to non members. Either that or he is registered and we don't know who he is. If anyone knows our Larry please give him a poke or please speak up yourself sir.

Chortle, no worries Larry, we just need to align your driver name to your forum name to get the results importer to work properly. I have now matched you up, so you will appear as Apextec, and you will score points

Sorry Geoffers for the contact at the chicane. With all the jittery warping though it was difficult to predict where you were going to be in those first few laps. Probably my fault for being so cautious at T1 in the first place and getting overtaken by so many..
Good turn out though - hope the historic RRE races here will continue to grow, although I won't be able to make all of them.
Congrats podium.

Was a very good turnout, reminded me of our early events with P&G v3, not sure where Jim was, but if he had been there it would have been a grid of 16. A few people from other series showed as well good to see Dana in the mix, and running well. I was thinking why the grid was larger, perhaps it was because people could see a good close quarters knife fight in the offing, or maybe it was that the 1st two events this year were extra tracks that had to be bought as well as the Euro and AMerican track packs? For whatever reason it was a good to see all the cars heading down to T1, looked like a "real" race

Hi apextech long time no see. You can change your name on the game website if you want. I was surprised it uses your name instead of nickname
