Nice race till the refuelling, then I lost connection to the host Oh dear. This might be a serious problem....because I have it too . Both in GTR and GTL. I can "fix" it by unplugging my router and making a direct connection (with firewall). It happens in the outlap after pitting right. If you have a solution for that, other than I described, give me a yell

Nice race guys. Qualified on pole for the first time since my first endurance race in the wet (Endurance S1 round 1). Very happy with overall pace. Managed to keep my pace up until 35 minutes to go when I decided to go one more lap. That lap was one too many as I spun in the little chicane. Right after that I spun again after a double downshift Decided to go one more lap to see if I should get the damage fixed and pitted. I didn't repair the aero damage because it would cost too much time. Finished 2nd, happy with it after all. I have to mention the NGT guys as well. You guys were really courteous. Congrats Rich_A on you well deserved win

I doing pretty well in that race for me. I had a run in with pops when the car snatched to the right on the bumps i got on the brakes but could not avoid him . sry Pops. For the 2nd race my pit crew did a bad job and never refuel me and I ran out of petrol with half a lap to what a relief to see Picnic was behind me so he grabbed the points

Really gutted for you guys with crashes and discos. The start grid was very odd. The entire left side of the front half of the grid just didn't get to the grid.
You have to be quick to get to the grid, there really isn't much time to look in garage before the countdown finishes, if you miss the countdown that's it.
The rolling start was then done very oddly, the lap was a very quick pace and then there were huge gaps left under the limiter which made no sense.
In the end I had a fantastic race. I couldn't quite match my PB in qualifying and TT pipped me by the smallest of margins for pole position (nice one TT!). Race started with lots missing ahead and as we got going after T1, one of my team mates cars froze right in front of me (think it was Mav's Lambo, very unlucky, guessing it was 1 fps). Anyway had a bout 1ms to react and smacked right into his stationary ghostly car. It sent my car into a spectacular mid air launch and I came back down with a thud off the circuit. Had to let the whole field through and tag onto the back.
Again showing up the poor damage model (thankfully for me) as my car didn't feel any different and I was able to push as hard as I liked, and boy did I like! My setup was an absolute dream, me and the car were just at one and on fire on track. I passed I think 4 people on the first lap after rejoining at the back, including championship rival Luis. I was on a major mission. Some great teamwork from Whitham who let me through next very easily and then just held Luis up enough for me get away very cleanly and whoosh off into the distance.
I was chasing the 3 NGT legends boys SOOOOO hard. Eventually I got up to Don and pressurised him for a few laps until he made a mistake and I was through. The 911 is just so fast down the straights there is no chance into T1. Pops said he was running full wing, well I couldn't keep up in a straight line even with less wing!! Next was Pops & Mark. I could see they were having their own battle with Pops ahead. Seemed to be a bit of team play when Pops seemed to let Mark by on the start finish straight. Guess had seen me closing in fast behind and Pops let Mark through to push on.
Had a great battle with Pops then eventually getting the better of him with an move that even suprised me. As we came out of the 1st gear chicane I was all over Pops and cut back down the inside in 1st gear. Floored it held onto the oversteer and passed down the inside clean before the next corner. Felt great.
Then caught up Mark and again pressurised him until he made a mistake and I took the lead. Last to first, I was on to one of my best races ever. Coming up towards the pitstops and I could see we were going to get lapped soon. So not wanting to lose any time being lapped I came in just as they got to us. I knew from the big air moment on lap 2 that I would have damage but didn't want to waste time having them fix it cause the car felt great. Had to deselect that and reduce fuel by a couple of litres as I could see exactly how much I was going to need after doing some maths during the first part of the race to see the exact consumption. Still, my crew had to change the tyres and put another 25-30L in the tank. Knew that Mark would gain time in the pits with having to take on less fuel. The fuel consumption really is the achilles heel of the Mosler. It's a real killer. Came out the pits and tried to do a really fast out lap in case Mark was coming in next lap and thought we would be really close.
Was gutted to see him 6 seconds up the road when he came out of the pits, just couldn't beleive how much time the refueling took. I then lost a bit of time in the first part of the second half as I was too nice letting people through and lost quite a bit of time and then I made my 1 large mistake outbraking myself at the end of the back straight. Into the gravel and lost another 10 seconds to Mark. Think it was 16 seconds with about 20 minutes to go. Knew it wasn't all over though, he could make that sort of mistake too so I pushed as hard I could, I really did not hold back at all, I gave it absolutely everything.
As the laps ticked on I was gaining on him rapidly. Wasn't sure whether I would get there or not, just needed a little mistake from him, but he didn't oblige. I was setting such fast race laps every single lap, at the end I was doing my fastest laps of the race on worn rubber. I was just at one with my car. I got the gap down to under 2 seconds on the last lap and then made a little mistake on the final corner pushing so hard. Just wasn't quite enough.
After lap 2's big air moment a race win would have been just incredible from last, but it just wasn't meant to be. Thirsty car and most importantly very strong competitor. Big congratulations Mark, very good win.
Cheers guys for the fantastic racing, especially good battles of note with Don, Pops and Mark.
Again, really gutted for TT and Nick and everyone that had technical difficulties.

That was my fault Having never started from pole I totally forgot that there was a formation lap I didn't think of it until the long straight I really don't know what got into me. Really foolish as I mentioned the procedure quite a few times while moderating I apoligize to all for all the trouble it caused

Fantastic race, very chuffed with getting my first NGT win Sorry for TT who dropped out right at race start, i'm sure he would have been another very fast guy to contend with. Gutted for you mate :'(.....but more points for me There seemed to be several cars Disco-ing at race start dont know what happened with Shark and Maverick up ahead on early laps, just saw a team shark fly back at me at warp speed and saw another one flying up in the air. Had superb race from start to finish after close qually battle, where i couldnt match my time i set in 2nd practise and narrowly lost out to TT and Shark, qualied in 3rd NGT. Had good early race with my team mates after i made a mistake in turn 1 and they both steamed past me. Was enjoying seeing our colours in 1,2 & 3 places for quite a long time Eventually heard the sinister Mosler engine of shark catching at a rate of knots and had to try and resist him off but i eventually made an error again at turn 1 and he got past. But i wasnt going to let him go and stayed tenaciously on his rear for a fair few laps really ringing the grip out of the Porsche but unable to match the traction of the mosler out of the corners. Shark then pitted and i carried on for another lap before doing like-wise, and for the first time ever, i managed to come out of the pits in front of him ....through using the no fuel/just tyres pit-stop. (i had full race fuel from start). The whole second half of the race felt like lap after lap at qualifying speeds as shark relentlessly chased me down despite me setting my own fastest race laps. Desperate stuff right to the finish line, i had to drive the wheels off the porker and gain a hard won victory. Great racing, loved it. Off on my hols now so see you guys soon , shame i'll have to miss the next races :'(....but boy do i need a holiday !

Hmm, not gears don't make any different. Engine needs to be off that's it. As long as you've selected some fuel to go in (you have to select how much you want to be in the tank when you leave, not how much you want added, something that has always been a little odd imho).

The flying/flipping Shark was me (THE Shark). The replay shows my car practically bounce over the top of you Mark! (You can see Mavericks sunken Lambo in the track that I hit as it stood stationary infront of me) This the view from the ground looking at my flying car... Just amazed that despite the rear wing being bent I was able to do 1:41s lap after lap in the second half of the race. Crap damage model, but glad of it, as it made a great race. Me passing Popabowa just after the 1st gear chicane...
