Endurance Championship - Season 3, Round 5 at EstorilDate: Sunday 23rd July Practice 1: 8:00pm (20 mins) Practice 2: 8:20pm (10 mins) Qual 2: 8:30pm (30 mins) Warmup: 9:00pm (2 mins) Race: 9:02pm (80 mins) Cars allowed: Those classed as GT or NGT, according to each driver's registered class. A list of which cars are in which class can be found here. Seat Toledo, Lotus Elise, BMW Z3M and Porsche GT3 Cup are not permitted. Weather: Will be decided just before the race based on real-world weather. Pit Stops: All drivers must make a minimum of one pit stop. This must involve entering the pit lane at the speed limit, and coming to a complete standstill in the designated pit box. Tyres do not have to be changed and no fuel has to be added. You cannot take your mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.Server: UKGTR Endurance S3 Password: Server Password is shown in the Password Board and is available to the relevant registered drivers. Notes:(1) Full-time drivers should aim to arrive during Practice 1. (2) Reserve drivers should not connect to the server until Practice 2. (4) See UKGTR Season 3 Info for general Endurance Season 3 info. (5) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules(6) The season will be run using a UKGTR carpack v1.5 which will need to be installed prior to racing. Sure hope there's some more GT cars for this one and sure hope my pace is better than the recent sprint race !! Race record is 35.9 held by JM, seems doable on a shorter stint..

Agreed seems a shame with 368 members we can only manage to get 6-8 GT cars out there. Then again as I am second in the championship there is no great need......

Just to clarify as I have football between 6:30 and 8, is it ok for reserve drivers to join after qualy has started as I got home after 2nd practice last week so didn't join.

The main thing you need to be aware of is that drivers on track will NOT be able to see you until they pit in again after you have joined

Yes it's ok to join as late as you want. As Jamera says we recommend people get there before qualifying so that everybody sees everyone else on track.

If i am listed as driving in the GT class, do i need to stick with the Lister i used last week, or can i use another car? Also, i recently downloaded GTR manager - there are a few skins included with this that i believe do not belong to anyone from this forum (correct me if im wrong) - i/e John Player Special Lister - can i assume everyone uses the GTR Managar, therefore has these skins, and i would be able to race using one?? If not would i get booted becuase "car not present on server" etc? Sorry for all the questions - i should just sort my own skin out and have done...but GTR 2 nearly here...

No, I wouldn't assume it. I've been using GTR Manager since we got the first skinpack but I've never installed the skin pack you are talking about I don't know if you will be able to even pick it but I wouldn't try it. You certainly would get a 'car not present' message and I can only view your car in safety car livery in the replay when reviewing incidents

Server is set to reject cars it does not know about so you will get kicked if you try a car not in our skin pack or one of the default cars.

Cars that can be used are any standard car from the game OR one from the UKGTR 1.5 skin pack. Nothing else.

There's some practice going on at the moment on the server if anyone wants to join in. Usual practice password.

What a joke. Just checking that my setup was right for the race, and then could not join!! Since when did the race start with not everyone on track? Well that probably screws any chance of winning the title, but would have liked to have screwed it myself rather than the bloody game doing it!!! You get a minute in Nascar to join, that seemed like 20 seconds! Ed - and that is my polite thoughts!!!! Ed2 - Actually looking at it I can only make next week and then am missing the last two as I am on holiday - so guess that is pretty much it - hope GTR2 gives more time to join the race!
