A great pity...but in its current condition this mod will Always cause problems, especially online. In a normal package, the car folders should contain 7 or 8 files for each car and there are usually 5 or 6 'shared' files (GMT's) that contain all the models, configurations etc for them. However in this mod, the shared files are there ok.....but each car folder contains around 55 files most of which should be in the afore mentioned shared files. This must be confusing the game engine as it has no real way of knowing which files to use, especially online where multple uploads/downloads are required. I have restarted the server with the relevant car choices.

sobs quietly into beer :'( bugger it, how annoying. Guess we werent to know without several of us being online with it at same time. Maybe lesson learned there that a semi-decent quick online test is needed for new cars, with several drivers present. By one pack Pseudo, i meant just use one of the cars from the 911S install that we've now all got, not allowing any others to be picked. Wouldnt that work? So for instance we can only all use car '39'. There would be nothing for it to mismatch with then, would there? dont suppose there is any chance of allowing the RSR in the car choice considering ive spent hours throughout week exclusively driving the 911S ? (what would happen if you dumped the relevant performance files from the 'S' into an RSR car folder?...would that drop it to 'S' performance but leave you with at least a working graphics model? )...just trying to think of a quick fix.

What you suggest is possible MJ, but not in time for tonights race unfortunately.
It's not quite as simple as dropping the engine and suspension files in...a fair bit of other tinkering would need to be done (providing I could even find all the required files in the 911 mod). I will take a look at it over the weekend and see if I can make something safe/usable from it.

Agreed :'( I really had hopes for this mod, spent many hours with it and I even stoutly defended against the oppo here. What a plonker At least this "test" has done what it was designed for and there's still hope that something might be done, especially as nothing else in the 76's mods appeals. Your wish is my command Tibs The RSR would be too fast MJ, if I remember you may have a Fuji GT40 set up that worked pretty well

that was highly enjoyable. big thx for organising it. lasted untill lap 10 when lack of talent got the better of me. up to that point i had some gret scraps with a number of people. most notably mr. s claus and his shelby sledge (nice driving sbg). i went side by side with a gt 40 at one point. don't know who, but if i messed up your race, i appologise. looking forward to the next one.

Thx to all for making the best of a bad lot and turning up despite the problems. Cheered me up no end Couldn't help but notice the Cwapri was hopelessly out powered even on this track :'( I saw Ade driving the wheels off it but getting mullered, must have been disheartening. Thx for taking it nonetheless and heres hoping we use it somewhere as I enjoy it. I really didn't think that pretty diverse choice would provide such excellent racing, what a pleasant surprise. Raced Klose's Vette, the GT's of Matt and Lorenzo, MJ's, Blunders and Legzy's Panty and Ade's cwapri. Simply brilliant racing with much skill shown as not to twonk each other off, let alone race at close quarters. I think it was Sandor who showed me the cheekiest pass ever into that stupid chicane and I was amazed when I pulled virtually the same move on MJ Passes of the day (exclude JR of course). Thx all and have a merry Christmas

As the man George Formby once said.... "Turned Out Nice Again". Rarely I'm sure has a test race generated so many comments in the build up alone , yet it all turned out alright on the night. I thought it was a really good match up of cars, the Vette probably the quickest (but in fairness it was Ruskus & Minton who were passing me in them). I had some good multiple lap battles with a few people, too many to mention but thanks, you all drove very well . I look forward to more "low-end 76's v high-end GTC65's" in the future on this evidence. Sorry to Minton for hitting you as you came through, lost control of my Pants as my wheels mounted the curb trying to give you room & sorry to Steve for getting in your way when the stack of tyres on the last chicane hit me (I'm sure they moved!). I'll crack on with looking at the 1300 mini, but will look out for any cars that could potentially mix it in what was tonight's race.

Much better race than I expected. Never never ever change anything before the race start! I know this, yet insist on being brainless dropped the rear toe in one click, insignificant? for a while yes, then the back became "unwieldy" under power a few people got a demo of how not to drive a GT40, went into the pit wall once, slid around horribly Grats and apologies to all that had to follow my back slewing from side to side. Half got the hang of it and having fallen of and been "Twonked off" by Santa, lost places, lucked back up to 6th as souls fell by the wayside, got "Twonked" again by Mark as I slowed to give a recovering Capri some room in Mineral Water (argghh!!!!!) calmed down and lucked back up to 6th again, as Santa surprised Mark into a spin up the inside into the chicane, the good/evil balance of the world was restored and apart from Dan blowing his motor (twice in two races? what gives?) All's well ends that well Great racing/patience from Mark/Martin/Santa/Jeffrey

That was great fun Think it was only the 2nd or 3rd time ever i have driven a Pantera as usually find them an over-powered mess but for some reason i found it very stable and enjoyable to drive at Imola..the last place i expected it to ! Couldnt get a fast clean lap together in qually but still got a respectable 5th place from the time i did set. Got jumped by two GT40s off the line by the first corner but eventually found a way past them as they had minor offs and ran 5th for a while until i overcooked the 2nd chicane and ran off dropping to 9th behind a gaggle of cars. Caught them, had some great racing finding a way past each back upto 5th again. Stayed there a while until i got a weird spin up out of the bomb-hole and dropped back down to blinking 9th again Re-fought my way back past them all once more to 5th place for the 3rd or 4th time of the night with a certain Mr Claus hot on my heels in his Cobra. He got up the inside of me at the hilltop chicane and the cheeky sudden-ness of it left me nowhere to go and as i tried to turn in at the last moment, the car went into a spin and i dropped 3 places yet again That was with only about 2 laps to go so pretty much had to settle for 7th at that point. Had a last charge on Matt in his GT40 but as i tried to get up the inside of him my pantera got all out of shape and he scampered off un-molested for the final lap. Great close racing with Matt, SBG (Claus?), Lorenzo? and Martin in a 4-5 car gaggle that fought each other for most of the race, swapping places continously No mean feat considering the brute nature of the cars involved....pantera,GT40 and Cobra. Should have sealed the 5th place but had great fun all the same. Congrats to podium guys upfront. ...now someone fix me that Porsche
