Like everyone I was struggling with tyre temps and had increased the anti roll bars by a few clicks to help keep things cool. This was not good for braking however and stopping was unpredictable to say the least. For the first while I thought I wouldn't be able to keep Rich_A behind - he was clearly much later on the brakes than I could risk - and putting in some good times. But Rich eventually ran wide which allowed Pedro through who kept the pressure on me for the whole race. From about half distance though I could tell my tyres had lasted well and temps never went above 90 so was able to cruise home. Pedro was never far behind though ..... lookin forward to Doni

Shame I couldn't keep it on the black stuff.. as I said rear had too much weight under braking and especially going into up hill Turn 10 [no names] rear wouldn't lift and all that weight caused a spin I couldn't hold. Maybe if there had been a pit I could have made the leap but then again maybe not.

I find that I have to run rear anti-roll bar at at least 20 on the porker to keep it on the road consistantly. This makes the front relatively soft which means that the brake bias can be moved forward, which saves the rear tyres and helps avoid those nasty unpredictable spins under braking

What a race, i had to fight from start to finish. Had a great first 25 mins with picnic glued to my backside whilst trying to catch Pops who was 1-2 secs in front, then saw picnic and zacari tussling behind me which gave me a breather for a few laps until zacari was then all over me. He then had a lock up whilst right behind me and i went past the spinning pops then rich a also spinning. Suddenly the giddy heights of 4th where i stayed until 4 minutes from the end with the recovering rich_A giving me serious pressure which in the end told as my rear broke away under braking. After the resulting spin i was just gaining speed as the unfortunate zacari came round the corner at full pace and rear-ended me. I had damage to aero and bodywork and it just slid off at turn 1 under braking and i had to watch gutted as cars 5th-10th went sailing past :'( I got it back on track and crabbed it home damaged for the last few laps only to see Rich_A off the track again and gained a very hard earned 9th Gutted i couldnt hold on for 4 more minutes to get my highest championship finish but kudos to the pro's who knew how to pressure me until the end Well done Pops too Just to say that definately wasn't me! I'd retired well before you got rear-ended (in fact, I watched the incident from the pits!). I had all sorts of issues last night. Firstly my screen resolution changed when I selected to enter the server, had to disconnect and run config to sort it out. Then had very low fps (between 15 and 40 depending on where I was on track, rather than 70 - 90 usually). changed config again and had same issues, so did 15 mins of quali in race setup and it seemed like I could keep the car on the road ok. That was the first, and only time I've been online with GTR and had any sort of issue, so I guess I'm lucky really! Started about 15th, had Tuetom up my 'pipes for the first few laps until I broke too late and he skipped past. I'd made a guess at the setup and it was basically undrivable, lost it 3 or 4 times and decided I'd rather retire than possibly collide with one of the leaders. Was some great close racing near the front, there was always a battle to watch from the pits!

Mark! If it was to the end of the race and in the last corner before start/finish line, it could have been me that hit you. I didn't have anywhere to go, you can see it from the replay. It was not intentional, anyway and I'm sorry if it cost you time. For me the race begun with a disaster. I allways wondered how people succeded to spin during the formation lap. Well, now I know... Had to fight through the grid and was having more fun than usual with Picnic, Mark@, Zacari, Aagramn, PaulW, Jamera,... Was sweating like a until I came through. 5th place was therefore a premium. Ehm, formation lap will never look the same to me...

Ah sorry for the mix up Zacari & truetom..i had so many great battles i lost count with who i was racing at any particular time. No problem at all Truetom on the rear ending, the difference in speed at that corner is considerable if one car's not travelling full pace. I was just getting back towards race speed but know that corner is almost a flat 3rd gear if you've taken a good line through it, theres also no way you could have changed direction or hit the brakes without spinning off yourself. I had no intention of reporting it as malicious or wrong. Unfortunately for me, the subsequent damage and scrubbed tyres meant that when i braked as normal for the following fast turn 1, the car just crabbed off towards the gravel and i sat there and almost blubbed as i watched 5th - 10th drive by after such a hard fought 36 mins of tough racing :'( I'm not complaining, i had a great race, just didnt reap my reward. Kudos to the top 3, i dont know how you manage such pace in similar cars....can i have your setups please

Hi Guys I like bruno . I had a new set up and it did save the rear tyres. Made sure to start at back so as to keep out of trouble and **** me if some one managed to spin in front of me in the opening laps so ended up having to work my way up through the field again. Paul W its a good job I did not know of your splitter prob or I may have tried harder to catch you . Quite a good run however. I had upgraded by the way and then paniced put on the 1.4 patch and it seemed to work ok bye for now gerald

Well I really enjoyed the whole race, pretty clean for me as well with no spins Did however have one incident with Blaz I think, on the long uphill drag before the second to last turn. I got a much quicker run out of the previous turn and after Blaz pulling across to block my overtaking line (nice move by the way ) I slipped to the inside, obscuring my view of a 360 having problems on the brow of the hill. Unfortunately because I was mid way through my passing move I left Blaz nowhere to go and he was sandwiched between us, become airbourne (awesome, check the replay ) Sorry mate... All in all though I had a good race, qualified 11th finished 8th and some fantastic battles along the way

Mark! I watched the replay and yes, it was me. You spun and you were comming back on track, accelerating when I came and we were directly on the racing line. I didn't see you until just the impact, sorry, couldn't have prevented it other than going into the wall myself which my self-preservng subconcionesness (how the **** do you spell this?) didn't allow. My replay time is 1915, yours is probably similar so you can look it up. You were doing good at the time (before the spin, that is), so you need more luck, as you're (too) fast allready! Looking forward to next race.
