A non-championship race open to all at a tricky street circuit. We will not be doing a standing start and will be in much faster cars, so please be careful during the opening laps. Practice 1: | 20:30 | (15 mins) | Qual 2: | 20:45 | (15 mins) | Race: | 21:00 | (40 minutes) | note: no warmup | Cars allowed: Any GT1 from the v2.10.5.0 pack (download from here) Weather: dry. Track: Valencia Streets v1.0.0.0 (download from here). In-Game Race Start Time: 14:00. Pit Stops: No mandatory pit stop. Server: UKGTR Special Password: see aboveNotes:- Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
- You will not be able to join the server without v2.10.5.0 of the UKGTR car pack and track (see download links above).
You will not see skins without the optional skin pack. - Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
- Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).

Yes & in the GT2 race there last week, the fastest lap was 2:05 by SBG (if that helps you get an idea )

Yeah saw the record, but GT1 times could be anywhere from 10 secs faster to only 5, so still a guess

I think I'll try the DBR9 for this, I'd like to see how it stands for S11.

I think I'll try the DBR9 for this, I'd like to see how it stands for S11. I'm disappointed you're not planning to be in the Marcos next season TT . At every race when I see/hear that beast appear in the distance behind coming round to lap me, it always makes me smile... as I think to myself "TT must be mad to drive that thing". It is simply so distinctive from all the other cars & as far as I'm concerned, you not in the Marcos is like you chopping off your right arm :'(

Lol, I'm really thinking the same way, it was the most positive thing in S10, enjoyed The Beast massively. There're so many other cars I didn't drive yet I'd be doing them injustice if I didn't try them. 40 min only?

From a brief go, I'd say 2mins flat is reasonable but I'll find out more tonight. Will be on late tonight, hopefully not all of you will be in iR land

Is this a particularly low grip track? I'm trying to get the 550 round here and everyone says its a nice car to drive but, god i hate it! I'm having to up the dampers rather high to try and keep the tyres on the track but it struggles in the slower stuff. It likes to spin the tyres and lock up everywhere, my braking distances seem a bit long at the mo and it still doesn like stopping! I guess this isnt a good track to try and learn a new car. Half a lap in the C6R felt infinately better with a slightly changed default setup. Tempted to stick with my beloved Aston again at this rate!

I find Aston is quicker here than Corvette, so I think I'll try DBR9 here.

Well I've just managed to brake into 2:00's in race trim, so hopefully that will be OK tonight?
