ok my game seems to have recalibrated itself somehow and now shows none of the cars as needing more than one stop. Don't know what happened there - sorry for misleading you.
another thing: at least offline, the pit limiter seems to be engaged after the pitstop, and cannot be switched off. Does everyone have this at this track?

Just given the Corvette L76 a go, managed 2.37s in it, some 3s slower than the Cobra.

That's a lot. the Cobra is probably too fast, or it will become a Cobra spec race Either way, I've spent enough hours on this one, so the cars are set.

not tried any of the cars here yet, but surprised to hear the cobra being quicker. In a fairly recent GC race at Spa the cobra was blown away by most of the yank tanks but it was such a lovely car to drive i took it anyway! and was hoping to do likewise here due to my lack of track time. Wont get a chance to do any laps until tomorrow eve.

My findings are much the same as MJ, it is an easier drive, and may be kinder on tyres so maybe I am just not a good snake charmer but for me it was a second slower than the CASC and the ATCC, and half a second slower than the WHite Robertson Vette. My Cobra times could be as good as my Pork times I guess

Ummm My server has been up most of the time since last week. Seems that sometimes the servers don't advertise in the Lobby as they should, I was using mine to see if it is a common prob or not and it seems it is. I have started the official practice server as well, hopefully it will be visible in the lobby. You are a cheeky boy young CLive

Maybe not, had a bit of time last night & tried the Hane GT350R & went faster than I had managed in the Cobra!

Maybe not, had a bit of time last night & tried the Hane GT350R & went faster than I had managed in the Cobra! Yes I found that too. However, the Cobra is an easier drive for me and does better with tyre wear which should make things interesting. Do we know if the pit speed limit applies here yet? I don't want to be caught out like I was at Potrero

After much practise I'm not feeling the love for this track so I'll sit this one out. Have fun.

Do we know if the pit speed limit applies here yet? I don't want to be caught out like I was at Potrero Just checked the .gdb files of the different Sebring layout into the main folder, and all the .gdb files say: RacePitKPH = 80 NormalPitKPH = 80 So the pit limiter should be active during the race. Just give a try offline setting a 2 laps race, and enter the pit lane without activate the pit limiter manually. If the limiter switch on automatically when you cross the white line of the pit lane, be sure that the speed limit in pit lane is activated, and you will receive a stop&go if you cross the line over the 80 km/h. The loan of the steering wheel is finished, so I won't race for sure this time chaps. Have a good one chaps

my cunning plan to get a load of laps in tonight is now thwarted thanks to a b*stard 12 mile 5 hour traffic jam on the m25 meaning my missus missed her plane to Italy even if i wanted to do them, my love of driving is somewhat curbed after that waste of half a day of my life That leaves me facing an enduro event with zero practise will have to use pre-race practise and qually as my familiarisation laps. Any info on fuel useage etc will be greatly appreciated as wont have time to run any fuel run tests. Probably going to take the Cobra as i like it.

Thanks for the info on pitlane speed limit Manteos, I'll try it later.
@MJ fuel strategy in the Cobra is easy, just brim it at the start and at your single pitstop and you'll be fine.

its a cool car, whats not to like? I assume your implying it has some advantage? I thought the vettes would be quicker, but then not done any laps to prove either way My only other choice would have been a 250GTO or an E-type(if lightweights allowed) but sadly both will prob be blown away by the yank tanks.
