Games I've had since '98, I hardly touch anything save GTR these days Smiley

At the moment I have,

GTR, the only one I actually play Grin

GPL+mods
NR2003+mods
RBR
F1C thought it might be like GTR but is'nt Sad
Ratbag dirt racing games, well I had some fun with them Tongue
Sail simulator
Virtual Kipper, I mean Skipper
SFS PC gliding sim
Silent Hunter 3, but I can't make myself sink allied ships so a bit of a waste of time really Grin
Rally Championship, I get nostalgic for the scenery sometimes Cheesy

On the shelf I have,

European Air War
Flying Corp
Mig Alley
IL2+FB
Falcon 4, I once actually learned to do a blind landing, and I did an in flight refuelling, the hardest thing I ever on PC did bar my GPL 8.21 at the 'Ring Smiley

The rest don't count, and I got almost everything there used from Gamestation, but not GTR.

Of course I'ts hard to find my stuff in amongst my sons WWII Shooters, He's a General in ELF clan and I have to turf him off to drive Smiley To think I had him driving GPL when he was 7yrs old and all these years later he says driving sims are boring Embarrassed

Just built a new PC and the very first things I installed on it are:

> Battlefield Vietnam (long standing clan gamer).

> GTR, natch.

> Pacific Fighters, the IL-2 games have always been on my machines in one form or another for about 4 years now.

> Anarchy Online, took advantage of the free years offer. Superb, if slightly ageing MMORPG.

> Guild Wars. When not GTR'ing I'm nearly always on this now. It looks and play stunningly good, was released on the day the developer promised in a smooth bug-free state, with all the content promised and two, yes two 70 page manuals chock full of background story and info. Very impressed with NCSoft (Korean developer I think?).

Hey Iain, how do you find H&D2 as a multiplayer game?
Loved the first game and went through all the expansion packs (and the floor of the game, several times Wink ). I prefer the slower paced, more serious first person shooters generally where you actually die if you get shot (!) like Operation Flashpoint. Have you tried Americas Army? Similar sort of vein I think.... and free, if you can stand the schmaltz.

HD2 is my most favorite game, but much different to singleplayer

you have standard deathamtch, just running round and shooting
you have occpation, taking flags and holding territory, the main clan game, much fun
also, objective mode, this is like Americas army, only one life per game, a couple of objectives to do, blow up tankers, kill a VIP, take a photo etc
its much faster than SP, but relative to other online games a little slower, you can try objectives and occu in the demo, and there are still servers up i think, some great players we have spotted in the demo have gone on to become them ost respected in the game Cheesy

I also loved hd1, thats why i got hd2, i loved the mp40 from it so i always took it as my choice

i have operation flashpoint, i like it, but capture the flag are the main active server, this is my favorite and you must wait ages to paly a game Tongue single player is AWESOME though

americas army is fun to play with my clan, but on my own it is not so fun, i also notice a lot of players abuse their honour, saying the low honour players are noob, or if the do wel lthey MUST cheat Sad
but i do like it when i play with friends Cheesy really fun

a racing game (GTR), a FPS/Stealth game (Doom3 RoE), a clan game (CSS), and a pickup and play (Trackmania Sunrise)
