The mod still needs some work though - parts are really quite unpolished. The odd paint you had was such an unpolished thing. You have to select an upgrade in order to have the paint right.

Great race..... took it very easy of the start and managed to crawl past Ruskus and Paul as they spun there wheels, Martin was ahead and i could just about stay with him then he disco'd . Was all on my own for a while then all of a sudden i could see this yellow thing in my mirrors! tried to keep it smooth and not look in my mirrors too much, i could brake a bit later but the Renault had a bit more top end which made it quite even but hit the grass coming out of Abbey and had too jump off the throttle and Dave came flying past...just watched the replay and you had a great run out of Club.. Good job Dave.
Would defantly be up for a little championship in these cars, think ill take the Lotus next time . Cheers

The weirdly mapped skins were confusing me no end until I looked it up on RSC- you need to choose your car, then switch over the "upgrades" and choose the version (if available) and then switch to the "skins" tab and flick through them until you get one that maps correctly. Bit of a faff but once you get the hang of it it makes sense.
I'd also recommend the FW07 Picnic, before you give up entirely- perhaps the most sure footed car in the mod.
Oh, and I got the weird low speed steering thing too Paul when parking on the line for the start. At very low speed the steering suddenly went very slack indeed.

Give a man a fish- he'll eat for a day. But give him a fishing rod and... he'll break it up for firewood, or just possibly, swap it for a fish.

if we could find a suitable race night and did a bit of promotion who knows.
Monday night or Saturday afternoon are imho going to be the best attended (of the nights remaining after our GTR2 / GTL activities).

Saturday would get my vote, Monday's are out. It would be nice to have something over the weekend, but having a little one in tow, it very much depends on the time of day for the race as to whether I can commit long term.

Mondays are out for me (football), and Saturday afternoons will be tricky as it is prime family time. Wed, Thurs or Friday evenings are probably my best times outside the GTR days.

Hardware permitting (currently reinstalling after swapping my primary HDD) .... I'll be there too. Quite enjoyed two podiums on the trot last time ... long may it continue!!!!!

Unless somebody else is volunteering to organise it, I'd like to wait until after UKGTR Season 4 is finished. We can then hold some Sunday night races which are usually well attended, and look at how to fit a championship, if there is sufficient demand, in amongst the GTR2 events.
