Waste of time for me too. Those cars have to be one of the worst handling cars to drive in game and at my favorite circuit too. Anyway, eventually nicked a setup Baracus sent me for Anderstorp and although the car still felt rubbish, it felt slightly less rubbish. Race started and my wheel was a whole lock to the left of straight (running at 900 degrees now), which of course I didn't know and proceeded to drive straight off the grid and onto the grass. Actually thought this might be a blessing, to avoid all the mayhem, but going through dingle dell there was accident and a red Porsche in front moved across me wiping both of us out. End of race. Just one of those things, but to be honest rubbish cars at a great track. I do get the feeling there is something very wrong with the 911 model in GTL as it just doesn't handle anything like a car.

Kinda disappointed in this combo as well The 911 was ace around croft and to be honest ruddy hard work around here. Its a shame we had to change this last mo. Gutted for you Syd and Bob. Thats really odd cause Phil used a standard skin I think, perhaps he could fill in the details and help you out. Equally annoyed for Dan and Bara That said I had a ball tonight Terrible quali left me midfield and a little worried for my safety but standards were excellent around me. Had to chuckle as we all drove slowly in single file for first lap but thats the way to go, for me. A good race developed as a result. Kinda threw away a jammy podium but couldn't have given it to a nicer chap Apologies for spin Alex and Racepace, entirely my fault. Congrats PR, Oily (that pass will look nice on replay ) and Ade. Welcome to Matt, Mauro and Race Pace who all drove impeccably around me.

Race with a couple of firsts: - First race where the track was obscured by smoke. Even had to lift the throttle to find out where the h*ck that corner began. - WHO STOLE THAT 50 METER/YARD board after paddock hill bend. That was my braking point! - First race with 40 minutes of battle. WOW! - First race were I came across cars who actually braked earlier than me - Race with most spinning cars during a race: behind, at the side of the track and right in front of me!! (np SBG) - First race to see the Gentlemen Drivers score solid points... I'm almost moved to tears :'( Thanks for a great race! PS. Sandor, finally our flat four experience paid off

Well done all the Prodigy's, First podium for Mr Oily and best ever finish for the new restyled "Go-faster stripes" Tibernius. Shame you weren't dressed in green but lets just add those points up Great race, don't completely love the Porsche but it had it's moments. Glad this wasn't Croft tho. Would have been too much learning this car and new circuit. Roll on next week, congrats to the other pods.

For the second week in a row I can't join the server. This time GTL is crashing while trying to load Phil Gilliland.
This is not the first time it's happened to you Syd: I think I know what my problem might. Every time GTL gets to loading Phil Gilliland, it crashes. I guess I might be missing his car, but no clue how.
Is it something personal? Both times I've been using standard skins, honest.

That's the Olympics Ice Skating final out the way then! Very pleased with my final position as due to the track/car combo , the game plan was set before the race just to try not to come off the track. I figured it could be worth a top Ten finish for me. Hurrah! 10th spot it was . Just suffered a single spin all on my own . Had some good racing with some of you but decided to let most people past fairly quickly in fear of taking someone out or being taken out myself. I feel a sense of achievement getting to the end, but I'm not sure I'd drive the 911 through choice after this experience. I'm guessing that the car was selected as normally it's kind of skipped over by everyone. If this is the case, maybe a choice of two cars nobody wants to drive would work better. Good racing guys, well done to the new racers & well done to the podiums. (@ Psuedo - Race Pace = Jimmer) EDIT - Forgot to mention how odd/sad it was to see 6 people dropping out of the game before completing the 1st lap.

Lol! Sorry I had to laugh. I've got a good picture in my head.

After some last races a bit unlucky for me, finally one with luck (balance of life) To be honest i never drove the 911 on a single race, tried once but didnt like, therefore it was a bit strange, but managed to start at 7th place (lucky last minute setup). Good start put me in 5th place, then, with the misfortune of Baracus (sorry to hear your net issues) Mr.Oily, Dan and Geoffers i jumped to 1st and secured the spot. Dan and Mr. Oily were always faster than me. Nice car choice, maybe it could be in another track (a flat one?) thats suites better for the Porsches. Congrats to all, and thanks to the backmarkers, good job. Cheers

Had a blast tonight cheers guys, totally unexpected 6th on the grid for me Big thanks to Geoffers for the setup doing real well in 3rd i think until lap 7 and threw it off track at Hawthorn took a while to sort myself out and started to chase down Phil for twelve laps, good driving mate got on his tail on lap 20 when he got out off shape at the sight of Ginsters sideways on at Cooper straight what was that all about SBG ? plus with Dan Mintons problems i was gifted back third Thanks to the back marker you where great it always worries me when you throw yourselves off track to let folk past you don't have to do it. Congratulations Pribeiro and Mr Oily

Grats to you too Ade. After winding me in over all those laps I thought you deserved my place, though I could have given it to you a little more elegantly.
