(Not directed at Ruskus unless i want to add on 3 seconds to his spaceship times) Me, don't look at me, I'm still trying to get the hang of this game again . I do notice that because of GTR2, my drivingstyle is a little less wild now in GTL .....a little

whats a quasi decent time around here in either car ? (Not directed at Ruskus unless i want to add on 3 seconds to his spaceship times) Did a 1:41.1 in a quick 10 minute test with the 906 and sure i can improve on that with some proper praccy. Not tried the Panty yet A managed a 1:38.6 today in the 906 using my race setup. It had Michelin tyres too, so I expect it should be good for 39s during the race ;-)

Further update - just did a 1:38.1 in the Pantera and it was a bit of a scruffy lap. IMO the Panty has at least 1 to 1.5 seconds a lap on the 906 over a single flying lap. The question is, can it be driven as consistenly as the 906 over a race distance? I also have no idea how well the tyres last on the Panty over 24 laps.

Well took the GTL disc out of the dust, cause Raddy asked me to join the server Did a 1.40 as only completed lap in qualy At race the counter brought back the old memories of doing full throttle standing starts and adjusting the amount of spin with the clutch. But then I immediately thought why is everybody so slow away at start, oops formation lap of course So I waited on the side of the track and Dave flashed I could get in front of him, no idea what my start position really was but o well Back to race Really love the force feedback, its much more informative then GTR2. I also love to use the throttle to balance/steer the 906 in the corners. Had a fun battle for a while but screwed up at the chicane every time so got stop and go Really gave back the good ol' GTL memories

Nice race at beginning, battling B and Madd...car was just crap on full tank...or maybe my lack of running in it...then later got s/g and thats it really.
Good turnout again.

Apologies to the two drivers I surprised with my early braking/slow approach to the last chicane, obviously I am slow there compared to the faster drivers. Trust not too much damage or lost of place tapping me down "run off" road.

That was great fun and an excellent GTL race again Qualied 10th? in the 906 and was fairly happy with that. Race started great, enjoying some good battles in the first few laps as the field jostled fairly for positions. Had some excellent scraps with panteras, harassing them thru the twisties only to see them pull away on the straights. You could really throw the nimble 906 about with some style through the infield but i hate the track crossover dipping turn and that chicane after the back straight All went well upto lap 11 after some good charging and plenty of overtaking i found myself upto 7th after dispatching Baracus in his Pantera and was starting to pull away. However very shortly after that i started to cook and overheat rapidly as my central heating had been left on full blast by an engineer, i got very uncomfortable and then span 3 times in one lap losing something like 30-40 seconds in total and dropping each time from an initial 7th down to 13th or so :'( If anyone wonders why i did a 360 whilst flat out on the s/f straight, thats the bit where i took my tee shirt off with no hands on the wheel ...i was suffering ! Fought my way back up past a few cars in my now cooler (skin) race suit and enjoyed a cracking battle with T cooper for the last 4 or 5 laps of the race for an almost photo finish across the line in a lowly 11th , great racing Tom?

Well firstly ,brilliant turnout, nice mix of cars too, not too many of one type. Secondly before I go any further I must apologise most profusely to Assassino, I'm not sure what happened but I'm really sorry, it really put a dampener on what was a fantastic battle between us. Please pm me to explain what happened Also to Radius for such a brilliant scrap and probably a very brown trouser moment for you at Bogen! I also manage a pb which although was nowhere near the 'Aliens' I was well chuffed with All in all marvellous!

Couldn't believe my pace as I only did high 38's the day a few days before, but I could now do low 37's . At the beginning of the race I was extremely cautious as I forgot how the car handled with full fuel and semi-warm tyres. After that I could get upto pace again, and when Radius spun I was in a gap between 1st and 3rd driver. Good result for Team Shark with 2nd, 4th and 6th, well done lads I did about 4L more than my teammates, and they had plenty of fuel left at the end, where my engine was sputtering over the finish . Wheelspin burns alot of fuel

Good turnout again, just shy of 20. I've grown to like the Pantera and managed a reasonable spot on the grid in qually. Start was amusing as I took 2xPorsche 906s down the start finish straight on the first lap. They were lambs to the slaughter of the savage DeTomaso. I think lap 2 or 3 and a brown trouser moment as Dan shot past like a speeding bullet into the first hairpin after getting his breaking very wrong. Just managed to stay out the way and see him go shooting through and out the other side. After that I had a battle keeping Nev behind for a while although he was finding it very hard to get near my Pantera, he would close up in the twisties but I just piss off into the distance on the straights. This went on for a while but eventually he succumbed to a stop and go for the last chicane I assume and I was left alone. Was alone for the rest of the race really. The hairpin that cuts short the circuit was a bitch in that car, you really had to stay on your toes the whole time with that massive grunt trying to tear out of the bonnet all the time. Well done Pero, Jeff and Baracus on the podium.

Assassino, you've nothing to say sorry for, I didn't see your lights (thought you were shooing away backmarkers!! ) cos all I had was the Pantera's Ass in my face for the last few laps!! , unbelievable bad luck, I just could not get past, it almost looked like a warp it was that sudden, no harm done although I've never snatched the clutch so quick in my life!! PS well done podium. PPS Team RVS second in Ladder...

MY STUPID ENGINE CUTS BECAUSE IT HAS NO GAS, i put extra 1 lap fuel,
I put in 63L in the Pantera, which according to my calculations was at least 2 laps spare and I still had about 2 laps spare when I finished so it was spot on. Jeff on the other put even more than that in and still spluttered out of gas as he cross the finish line. No worries though I was just around the corner to push him over the line should his car not quite make it. Certainly shows you that driving style accounts for a big part of fuel consumption.
