Server?? tend to just run against the leaderboards so you can see where you are against everyone. http://game.raceroom.com/leaderboard/?track=2556&car_class=class-5262&driving_model=2

So, regarding the use of DRS:
Practice - Unlimited use with no restrictions Qually - DRS deactivated Race - Allowed one use per lap, at any time during the lap, as long as you are within 2 seconds of the car in front when crossing the start/finish line. Breaking or lifting throttle deactivates DRS and it then can't be used again til the next lap.
Is that correct? Anything else I should know?

I must have put in a fuggled pw when I set it up after Thursday's race So, regarding the use of DRS:
Practice - Unlimited use with no restrictions Qually - DRS deactivated Race - Allowed one use per lap, at any time during the lap, as long as you are within 2 seconds of the car in front when crossing the start/finish line. Breaking or lifting throttle deactivates DRS and it then can't be used again til the next lap.
Is that correct? Anything else I should know?
I only tested DRS in a race session with the AI but this is what I found: DRS becomes available in race when you cross the S/F line within one second of the car in front of you. You are then able to use 3 "bursts" of DRS at any time during that lap. DRS is deactivated for that "burst" when you brake or when you lift off the throttle. This test race is to practice and get to know things like this so we can feedback afterwards. Just make sure you set a DRS button and then remember where you set it

ooh, forogt about DRS, timetrials have it disabled!
I guess we'll find out how to use it! lol
This cars are bloody quick! But can be lethal when they snap away from you. Only really tweaked the default setups but want to try a more softer setup to help make it easier to drive near limit.

Anyone tested how much fuel we need? How do the tires do, do we need to pit / how many times is it necessary? One race only, correct?
Seems a nice set of cars, very drivable. Stopped watcing this on TV, so I have no clue of the rules in DTM.

Not enough prep, Spanner. I'm lazy as ... (insert word) Tried a few laps and it seems tasty.

As I'm such a helpful sort We're loosely following the format for the DTM "Saturday" races which means no pitstop needed. Tyres should be fine for 40 minutes. My fuel testing gave me approx 70L for a 40 minute race so 80L should be safe enough. You'll know when DRS becomes available because there is a little blip as you cross the S/F line. You'll also hear a noise when it is activated/deactivated from the motor which moves the wing. Hope we get a decent turnout as it could be an exciting series.

Just had a quick tilt at the leaderboard. I'm not very quick in these DTMs anyway but bear in mind that most of those top times must have been driven before the kerbs were updated in the December patch. The driver I "challenged" was able to get good traction out of the corners while I was bouncing along on the sausages.

Ha, fronts wer RED, meaning almost out totaly. While this may be due to setup, I think tyre change will be necessary - at least for me. More mistakes, gentlemen! I made to many on my own to be able to get somewhere without yours...
