Practice server is up with some weather variation for your delectation.
Cadwell only has 18 pitboxes so make sure you're signed up nice and early!

Now temperatures is 15\19. Mark, please, clarify admins rule for server sessions temperature management. I prefer static ( as it was earlier). Please, read server documentation about track\ambient temperatures possible settings first BTW To set random temperatures is bad way here.

Settings I 'randomly' picked are BASE_TEMPERATURE_AMBIENT=16 BASE_TEMPERATURE_ROAD=7 VARIATION_AMBIENT=3 VARIATION_ROAD=5 So I read that as track temp is min 18 to max 31, ok this might be quite a large range but the base temps are much more akin to a Spring day here in the UK. If you want today's then I bet track temp is in single figures I have no particular affinity to these settings so I'm sure everyone can make suggestions and MJ and myself will listen to them. However I can already tell you not everyone's going to be happy.

Practically, any such kind of experinents will not bring good things to most of pilots because it will takes olny a more longer time for practice and measuring PSI. Ppl, just need a build own temperature\ PSI dependency to use it in races. I have no interest to build such kind of headache for pilots here. Better way here is to make fluctuations 1-2-3 celsius , in GP oficial sessions, not more. ( just for randomizing it in GP race). In practice server it must to be a fixed temperatures ( without fluctuations).

Not having things perfect can also benefit you if you get it better than the competition.
Not sure if it's wise to implement it already on short notice and with reversed grids.

We don’t need to go mad on variance, just a smaller window for temperature variation will do. As a baseline something more akin to spring temps as it looks like we’ve been racing mid summer track temps so far circa 33 degs! no wonder tyres suffered in some series.

OK I've restarted the server with
BASE_TEMPERATURE_AMBIENT=16 BASE_TEMPERATURE_ROAD=7 VARIATION_AMBIENT=0 VARIATION_ROAD=2
So track temp is between 21 and 25. Better?
P.S. Anyone want some wind? Always windy at Castle Combe.
