That happens if the lobby system restarts, needs the hosting machines to re-login which they don't do automagically Sad

I managed to squeeze into the 1-22's with a low fuel med tyre setup. Not tried a race or qually setup yet though.

Unlucky Jon. Different class tonight Smiley

The BiT isn't good at Brands but still had some fun. Thanks to TT, Hal and MJ (shame you fell off when you did :'() for the racing. Truly dreadful pitstop (it put me behind MJ for gawds sake Roll Eyes) put paid to a higher finish but made it a good race with Hal to the end. Quados for not following the crowd in the Seat.

Can't help but think the Panoz needs tweaking for S15, is there gonna be a s15? Smiley angel

Nearly scuppered me Jon! your car disco'd right in front of me and my car speared hard right into the armco  Sad  Spanner gained heaps and bounds on me at the end as i had smashed front suspension but he then blew it on the penultimate corner when only about 1-2secs behind  laugh

That was very tough in the heat, sorry for taking my h-phones off early on, it was just making me too hot...shame as i would have liked to have laughed into the mic when Legzy took out spanner  Grin

a couple of silly errors (again) cost me dearly as looked like i had the pace to run with the pack in race, but i still thoroughly enjoyed blasting the 997 around glorious Brands  Cool

Pitstop even went well  Shocked and came out ahead of SBG in 6th. Vainly hoped i could keep ahead of him and managed to keep a 3sec gap for about 5 laps before taking too much kerb round the back of the track where some idjut (Legz!) had wiped out the distance board/brake marker..and SBG blasted past. I chased him hard for many laps but his turbo power and talent gradually eeked out several secs, then Jons disco dropped me right back. Good fun though  Smiley

GT2's at Brands are superb  Cool  Well done Podium  Smiley

GT2a are superb anywhere. Cool

SBG, H@l and Lazlow made my day, very enjoyable, very different cars with different strenghts and weaknesses. Cool F430 was left for dead on ever straight but only until the other cars tyres started to go. That goes for Bi-T, Seat and Panoz. I think I could have had you there in the end, Lazlow if I wasn't short on fuel. Finished with 0,4 l of fuel. Shocked Can't see why, really. Pitted 1 and a half minute into the second half of the race and I took more fuel than I spent until pitstop. It should have been more than enough. Undecided Might be 'cause I was chasing SBG, then Lazlow for all the second stint and fuel usage was higher then.

Bad luck Jon. Grats API and Lazlow. Smiley

Did you get the pitstop procedure now, MJ? whistling

EDIT:

Season ended already? :'( Even with the winning position (bad luck Jon) and Legends taking the title I feel a bit underwhelmed. Another GT2 season, please. Smiley

Whoohoo...the Legends win the GT2 mini-champs !!  thumbup2

1st and 4th places in the drivers table too, congratulations to TT as the drivers champion  thumbup1

Spanner beat me to 3rd place, so congrats to him.

..and yes, i finally cottoned on to what i was doing wrong in the pits on the final round  Roll Eyes , i just hadnt realised you were all filling up the tanks to the end but just topping up in your stops. Bit gamey but obviously works.

This should continue!...though using Evo for a series of GT2 as good head to head comparison.  Smiley

The Lower Endurance will be 4 races using the GT2 cars.

If GTR Evo proves popular then we will change over to that for a 4 races championship once the GT2 championship is complete.

Well, I'm up for that MJ  Smiley

Well done TT and the Legends Cool

Few too many mistakes for me, did say beforehand i was going to struggle round here. The front few just disappeared off then got a wheel on the grass coming into the fast right hander at the end of the back straight and spun out into the gravel loosing loads of places then spent most of my time circulating with Legzy even if he decided to shove me in the barriers!

Annoyingly i damamged the car on the same lap i came in to stop so lost about 50 seconds.

Would prefer sticking with GTR2 on sundays tbh

GT500 mod seems a good thing to liven (is that a word?) things up a bit but I'd also like to keep some GTR2 GT races on Sunday. It's been this fay for so long I can't think of a Sunday without it. Cheesy Though I also agree that Race Sport class races are a good replacement / addon thingy. Smiley

Just to note i was planning on running on alternate wednesdays Race 07 touring cars and GTRevo GTsport races.

thats good but its just never going to generate enough numbers for decent racing compared to a sunday eve. I think the sunday slot needs to be used properly for a series of Evo GT races (as planned) if we are ever going to do a head to head trial and see if the consensus is to move forward or stay with ye olde GTR2. But one thing for sure is your never going to increase the grid numbers sticking with GTR2 whereas there is a fighting chance of attracting new drivers from the more current Race/evo arenas. IMO.
Tuesday would also have been a good night to run some evo sprint races but for some reason we've gone off on another tangent to race old F1 cars  Huh

dont know..it just always used to be good for races on tuesdays. Guess tuesday gives a natural break either side from sunday and thursday races which helps anyone who has another half!

Find a race since we started racing on wednesdays where we havent had just the usual people turn up from sundays? Think your'll find that last TC race we had had more people than many sunday races. It will not matter what day you run anything, if you run something interesting enough then people will turn up if they want to turn up.

Being that we get a few people on most nights for something or other Mark you need to put your foot down!

You do thursdays? lol

Comparing the heady days of old with nowadays where we do well to pick up 10 people in anything is rediculous.
