I wouldn't worry about that lap record, the Z4 was far too good back then & doubt that will be broken anytime soon.

1.03 for me too, could probably go a bit faster but I've been so consumed with iRacing that I've lost all motivation to practice on GTR2.

The specific server seems to have disappeared from the lobby list.

The server has been locked since last night, so I've not been able to post last night's PnG race results and presumably the other servers have also not been restarted after last night's race.

I am having trouble downloading the track. :(

Filefront has been giving me an error message for the last couple of hours and Humyo is giving me a 3kb file.

Any ideas?

The Humyo link is working fine now :), the Filefront link still gives me an error :(.

Is it just me or is the entire WWW getting a bit flackey these days :D?

My hundredth race here at my 'local' circuit too. I span Craske on lap 2 (sorry my fault).
I quit in disgust having waited but that is my lot for the time being. I am just not enjoying this anymore.

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the season.

Hmmm.....2 s/g penalties for...not a lot. Then another s/g as I left the pits. Very strange  ???

Phew that was fast and furious !  :)

Enjoyed that. Ran as high as 4th for a while chasing my teamie TT but then in one lap of madness at about midway point, i ran wide twice and gifted 2 places and then a 3rd to the chasing pack who i had a 4+ sec lead over  :wetfish:

Enjoyed some great racing with Apex's TVR, you were really hussling that around here  :fencing:

Fezza felt great and racy...not bad these Italian sportscars  ;)  even though i had thought this was an endurance event and had done all my testing and tweaking to suit a 60min race at 2x fuel  ::) so had to make a last second compromise.

Finished 6th, not bad but not as high as i had hoped here. With tt 3rd its another decent haul of points for the legends  :)
Seemed like quite a few got S&g's at the chicanes...tsk tsk, though easy done if you outbreak yourself at them. Aye Legz ;)

My race was also defined by a stop/go penalty go supposedly cutting the first chicane. There were two things wrong with that: 1) i didnt recieve any prior warnings for cutting, it just gave me a stop/go on my first offense  :( 2) i have watched the replay back and i have all four wheels on the track at the point the penalty was issued!

A bit gutted as from then on it was impossible to claw back a podium - as soon as you catch someone here you loose bags of time following them and its tough to overtake. I enjoyed my race back through the pack and had some nice battles, notably with Apex and Geforce. I was closing in nicely on TT at the end but i span out trying to avoid cutting the chicane after braking a fraction too late. After that i couldn't quite get him and we crossed the line together on the final lap.

Congrats to Laz on the win and Nsfast and TT on the podiums.  8)

lol, yeah, that was my only 'cut warning' of the whole race (as I slid through under braking into a barrier & earning a puncture too ::)), though I did find out while practising on Wednesday that the 1st chicane required caution to keep the marshals happy

Really enjoyed it overall, just like last time here 18 months back 8)

Well done to Lazlow for the win, Jay/API for having S/G penalty's & still thrashing me! & Jonzo who I'd noted had a return to form tonight quite early in the race. 8)

Drivers champ  (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=269&scoring=521&theme=4#ch521) will be looking close after this race & the Team championship  (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=269&scoring=522&theme=4#ch522) will be looking very nice ;)

Rubbish Driver + Rubbish Setup == Rubbish Result.

Wasn't too bothered when I crashed out relatively early was just not enjoying that.

Bad luck, H@l. :( get the darn thing sorted out! :taz:
Surprisingly found better pace than training on my own. Must be the combination of some sensible advice. First MJ said he's using way lower wing and then H@l (I think) said he has very soft front arb. Made some laps and a mixed setup and presto: 3rd place. :D Well, it was a bit undeserved, JB should have got it, really. Combo before first chicane was hectic for me, almost lost it a couple of times in the race and on the last lap with JB behind I was scared to botch it and take us both out. So I braked a bit earlier and almost did that very thing. ::) JB cought it out but it meant he couldn't pass any longer. Not on purpose, buddy, just being clumsy more than usual. :-\
Had a lot of opportunity to watch the back of nsfast's car from behind. Couldn't quite close on and his stop & go didn't get to appear. :P Great pace, more than half of the race we were 2 sec apart. 8)
Well done pody and good points, MJ. :)

Don't even worry about it dude.. one of those things, and besides it wasn't totally your fault, truth be told I didn't even know that you were on my right side, if I did I wouldn't have turned in so quickly and we wouldn't have taken each other out.  :).

Couldn't quite close on and his stop & go didn't get to appear. :P

 ;D  ;D

A tough but very enjoyable race last night. It was very difficult trying to mainatain a very small lead over TT whilst avoiding the potential Stop Go. I think we must have being doing almost identical lap times for most of the race. After seeing numerouse cars going down the pit lane I was never really sure how much I could chance those chicances.  :o

Grats to Lazlow on the win  8). Bad luck to JB and API on missing out on the podiums. Looking forward to the next race.  :)
