Mr. Oily, pretty please, I need a small help I've never participated in any hosted session - I understand, going between quali and race is similar to the official sessions; you enter hosted quali, exit, and then join hosted race? Is there anything else to it? In case I manage to join did a bit of practice (not enough) and mid 1.24 was best I could come up with so I will stroll in the back probably. Thanks

It doesn't work like that, you don't need to exit between sessions. There will be separate practice-qualification-race sessions but you stay connected the whole time, it automatically moves between sessions just like GTR2. Does that explain?

Will probably join only quali and race Speaking of dragon, here's a good one - don't tell it to mother-in-law!!! Two graveyard workers talk over a pint and one of them is complaining: "Man, just today, we burried a bloke who weighed at least 300 pounds, my arms are knackered" and the other one said: "Stop complaining, we burried a mother-in-law and we got such a strong applause that we had to bring up three times for an encore"

The track layout looks spot on to the real deal. I'm going to have to jump into iRacing one of these days. Here's a little more footage to get you guys into the mood. I ran this race June last year. http://www.vimeo.com/5299110

That was actually good fun Top 4 in qually were split by less than a tenth But I blew my chance of winning at the start. I.... errm... didn't. I wasn't sure if you could do a clutch start and assumed I could just drive away like every other car. No, you can't and I was sat on the grid fumbling around to get back to neutral and make a proper start. Passed one car without much bother and homed in on Shark and Oily. As I got close to striking distance on Shark, he obligingly dropped a rear wheel on the grass and took Oily with him on a trip to the grass. That left me chasing down Andrew, outbraking him into T1, then the chase was on to see if I could catch Dave for 2nd. Not quite, but I had fun trying

Crikey that was hard work. Having set a PB in practice and topped the time sheets throughout, I was really frustrated in qualifying not to be able to put a better lap in, only managing third and seeming to give Mike a tow that I really thought he would use to outqualify me, but forunately not. Got a reasonable start and managed to get alongside Adam Covell into turn 1 and hold it with a good exit from turn 2; had almost cleared him as we headed for turn 3 but the "Clear" call from the spotter hadn't arrived as I needed to turn in, and it was too late to back out and concede the place, so I had to take a massive risk and turn in anyway, knowing there was a good chance I'd get turned over his nose. He realised what was happening and tried to back out but unfortunately either clipped the curb, a bump or another car and spun out, I think taking Ade out in the process. I felt bad about it :'( but I'm not sure what else I could've done under those circumstances. After that it was mostly a matter of trying to put some pressure on the leader, but that didn't last long as after a few laps I was struggling to get the car stopped for turn 7 and ran wide several times, losing any hope of picking up his tow. The gaps to James in the lead and Mike in third remained pretty static after that at around 3 seconds. Really struggled with the tyres in the last few laps and Mike got to within 2 seconds at the end, but mostly it was just a case of keeping concentration levels up and not making any silly mistakes.
