Championship standings HERE TRACK #5 Grid/server capacity: 22 Track: Nurburgring Nordschleife ('73 to '82) Cars allowed: Porsche 935 PM WT for track/car download pack Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins) Race: 20:40 (6 laps) Time of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Pit stops: Not Required Server: simracing.org.uk Wednesday Password: see aboveNotes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: None.

Although there is a short cut path (to avoid doing a full out lap) I have been unable to trigger the lap timer at the start/finish straight It looks like qualy will be one out lap then one hot lap. You should not need to pit for fuel as in my testing your good for 7 laps on a full tank. Be a miracle if I finish this but the engine noise is beautiful when you give it the full beans.

Make sure that you are using the V2.0 version of these Porsche 935's. They are easier to drive as the physics had a big overhaul. If the readme file (Porsche 935_LIESSMICH.txt) in the Porsche 935 folder has a date of 08/10/2010 23.03.2010 you have the correct version. If not, you need the download.

This is going to be madness! I did a few laps to try and set up the car, starting with my Interlagos setup from last year's race in May, but had to change almost everything. It seems the splitter and rear wing setting do nothing for this car, so I worked to make the suspension absorb the bumps and surface gradient changes better. I also noticed that it's much easier to drive this car with auto-clutch turned on, especially on this track, as it lifts up and declutches very quickly on its own. I had my stream running while testing, if anyone wants to have a look at my best lap (a 7:46.xxx): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1121705872I made additional changes to the setup after that lap, but haven't tested them yet. Should be better still, because the setup I was using on that lap in particular was a bit too soft at the front and thus too twitchy (as you'll see if you watch the recording). Here's a download link for the setup: https://we.tl/t-pWj1RUJvCOI wonder if anyone is going to survive this! The rear tyres wearing out so quickly is only going to make things worse after the first 2 laps.

If this is an easier to drive rework I would hate to try the original I can't "Race" with this car. I can guide it round the track at shopping speed but it isn't racing.

When was anything at Nords "racing" ?
For me it's just trying not to bin the car.
Anyway, just wanted to say that the finishers may start chatting at the finish before I reach the end (if I reach the end) cos it may be a while.
Sorry if this combo is not to everyone's taste but I do like to challenge you lot.
I promise that the final four fixtures in this series will be more "relaxing".

48.1 from me. It's tough but much fun. I hope we will be at least 6-7 cars and 2 finishers maybe
