A happy but not brilliant victory... Somehow I wasn't in the mood yesterday, just couldn't find a fast rhythm, wasn't in shape or was it because I still don't trust the McLaren M7a Cossy after the frustration in Bathurst ...? In any case, in training I was far from my pB from my preparation (1:45.5), which for the most part had also been done on the impossible old track (= Rally Cross for F1 )... My start wasn't bad, but Greg’s was better, so I had to brake on the last moment in T1. Happy we didn't touch each other I must slowed down. My Antipasti Teamie Axel promptly hit me in the back and the CHAOS ensued … I had much luck at that moment, didn't notice anything at all and was able to pull away quickly. But what the GPL damage model of the '69 offered - impossible, horrible to watch, simply unbelievable - actually more than half of the cars should have been eliminated in lap 1 ... When I saw Greg back in second position already in R10!! great catch up from P14 !! I had a lead of about +23s. That looked like an easy task to carry the M7A to the target. But it is nothing new, when you're not under full pressure, some lacks of concentration followed and a spin closed the gap more and more. Maybe it was just the sumptuous dinner? Congratulations to Greg and Johnny, my Antipasti teamies good day for us and all finishers, thanks to all back markers for fair lapping. I'm hoping to be in better form at Road Atlanta - the form of the day is becoming more and more important...

Congratulations to you Enrique and Axel and many thanks for the perfect organisation For me it was a very special race. In Dijon, on this very circuit, I saw the Grand Prix de France of 1977, 1979 and 1981 live. 1979 with 120000 spectators. This race is considered as one of the best F1 races of all times - especially the Arnoux versus Villeneuve duel the last three laps! For those who have never seen it here is the LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzGcm28AOb8I have a lot of great memories of these race visits - which motivated me to invest once again in a good preparation, which after the frustrating engine failures in the past two races finally led to my first win this year and on this track. This time everything just went without problems, except for the one or other lapping. They cost me up to 2 seconds per lapping but fortunately my lead was big enough. 1979 Villeneuve wasn't so lucky to have such an advantage ... See you in VIR

Congratulations Pete and Andreas – that was one of the races I will never forget! As Pete wrote, it was a real blast! It got more exciting with every lap and was a hard work to do with that heavy MS84, no chance of keeping up with you when accelerating out of the corners. I could only hope to keep the gap, waiting for your little mistake (I had half a dozen of them). In the end it was a fantastic race, the highlight of the season so far. Let‘s do it again ...

Congratulations to our sympathetic podium, I'm happy to see my friends up there , even though I would have liked to be there by myself because I had a good chance to do so ... Unfortunately I had a strange engine problem at the end of the second lap at Galgenkopf with already more than 15s lead, drastic power loss without any apparent reason. Unfortunately, GPL does not comment on this. At approx. 80ºC oil temperature, approx. 90ºC water temperature with 9500 RPM, the RPMs dropped back to max. 7000 RPM without over-revving That's it ... Of course I am very disappointed, I have to have a crisis meeting with my engine specialists. I'm looking forward to Silverstone – the home of british Motorracing

Congratulations to you Axel and Greg - nice to be on the podium with you. At the start Greg passed me directly. I lost very fast the slipstream of the leaders - no more chances. Great job Axel, Greg and not to forget Doni in the old BT24! Fine to see that the expected crash in T1 did not happen - it is possible even in Spa! I hope that the crashed drivers (SRY) all came out of their burning cars unharmed and can drive again at the Ring. cu on track

What a surprise - only ONE top car on the grid! Nobody wants to win in Monaco anymore? I wish I had known that. I was quite happy with my practice result. In the race, my only goal was to finish, which is always special here in Monaco - and I did it without being lapped, which I expected - even the fuel would have been enough for more than 4 laps, which also speaks for my special Monaco riding style ... Congratulations and a big hand to you Fulvio and Greg, it's nice to stand next to you both on the podium. Big SRY to Clive, Miguel, Axel and the other none finishers THX to all racers and admins. Next Cu race

Nice full grid yesterday! I am very happy with my race, was able to stay out of it all after my bad start takeing home the second place safely, although I was in fact much too tired - not able to go hotlapping to the end of the race. So I was pleased to let Renato pass, also because I saw how fast he was coming closer. - 2 fast 4 me and big THX for close and faire fighting to you Fulvio. Congratulation Renato and Ricardo and to all finishers thanks for the perfect organization

"Grande casino" here! As a reserve driver, I dutifully waited the 25 minutes as instructed, only to discover that I had not installed the track at all. So I did it and search for setups (they were not perfect working with my new equipment because they were more than 10 years old …) After that I was on track with 20 minutes to go … It followed a very extraneous, unrealistic race. Not even the track who looks so strange to me after such a long time (even Eau Rouge and Malmédy are great combinations) no because of the GPL damage mode! Normally my race should be finished (shift-R after more than 20 years of GPL racing is no option for me ) after the start crash, where five drivers and a lot of the spectators, when Bastian flew into them were killed – and then I also slam into a house behind Masta and survived – easy going, doesn’t matter – I turned my car around and went on without using shift-R !!! Lap after lap I was able to remember the course again and despite the old set-up I still managed the second-fastest lap even I have a lot of crashes ... THX to Evil, Christian, Andreas and Billy for having some fun. Many THX to UK-GPL for organizing, wish you all happy holidays and a happy new year.

Thanks Axel was no problem - but looking already was! I must confirm Andreas' assumption unfortunately ... Tristan just pushed me recklessly off the track - even there was enough space! has nothing to do with fair F1 racing for me What‘s about KartCraft? In karting this kind of fighting is normal ... the main thing is that you enjoy it - I do not ... P3 in practice surprised me as well as the chaos after the start in T1. After that all was fine, the little red one ran great and until the said Kartracing moment I had a lot of fun. cu next race in clermont ferrand

... and again (like Solitude) rolled up the field from behind. But this time no colleague was to blame but a technical problem maybe of the track installation which finally led to the DQ. Despite 4th best time of 2:00,93, which was not recognized (DQ!) I had to start from the last row. My Techprob: I could not start from the pits When I pressed the green button for going to the pits, it followed a massive ”ROCKETCRASH!” with a rough landing after a long flight in the sky, somewhere on track or in the green! I only could start driving with using shift-R … But my race was fine. I had a lot of fun catching up from P16 to P4. My very quickly made setup, I had mistakenly prepared for Reims!!?? for whatever reason, fortunately was ok. Congratulations to Leo, Tristan and Lasse and all the competitors. Except for my outlap, were Paul scared me in T1 – after the race all colleagues were very fair and prudent on the road - great racing, THX to you all.

That was one of my best races, with really a lot of fun after the shock in the first lap I quickly could find the flow again – and again an experience of a special kind with my special friend Yannick - just stupid - and that's not enough, already lying on the ground Leo hits me with a violent bump! But my catching up from 12th position was fine also because the other colleagues fight very fairly and carefully. Congratulations to you Tristan and Tom. I'm already looking forward to our slipstream battle in Rouen.
