Title: UKGPL Season 25 (2013) Friday Trophy - Moon - Dec 13 Post by: EvilClive on December 10, 2013, 01:26:23 PM +0000 Season 25 Friday Trophy - Rounds 37 & 38 - The end of season finale is Out of This World
The Friday series has arrived at its final venue...the team transporters had a little trouble getting here and now the drivers are complaining that they are short of breath!! A big question mark over the aerodynamics and downforce but apparently there is very little drag ;) The Moon welcomes careful drivers, although the Apollo astronauts are the only official drivers that have navigated around these parts and from what I recall they were more "off road". So to finish a FUN series we come to what must be the ultimate FUN circuit. 4 races left to decide the championship placings....drivers start your engines!!! This round is for the F2's and the 69x's Heavies Lights Cars for F2 Brab BT23 and Lotus 48, Cooper and Ferrari Cars for 69X Lotus 49b and Matra MS80 Mclaren M9A and BRM P126/139 "Please ensure you are aware of the new in-series penalties for this season. Details are here (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=10879.0). Drivers incurring a penalty will receive a PM informing them of this."
Full(ish) moderation of lap 1 red zone. Title: Re: UKGPL Season 25 (2013) Friday Trophy - Moon - Dec 13 Post by: garethhall on December 10, 2013, 05:27:45 PM +0000 Looks like the copy and paste pixies have been at work again ;D

I had forgotten the way around this desolate place and just could not hook up a clean lap!! Tonight is not looking good. :-\

I always look forward to racing against you, and that stuff happens sometimes. I enjoyed the race. I could have been more prepared, but I just treated it as a fun race. I may miss the next the race. I'm going out for a night on the town next Friday. Good luck to everyone partaking in the GT and Can Am space cars. - Walt
EDIT: sorry for posting at a late hour. Great track, short and sweet but difficult to pass on and very dusty if you go off. In both races I just tried to keep it on track as much as possible and it worked out for me. The odd scary moment in both races but I survived. Grats to both podiums and everyone who raced. What the GT and CanAm cars are gonna make of this track I don't know but it should be good providing the Chinese have not dug it up before we get there next week!
