As far as I am concerned if I am fortunate enough to be lapping someone in a race, then catching them in the wrong place at the wrong time, is what makes it more real. Sometimes one is lucky and it all happens on the straights and sometimes you find a car on the apex that you wanted..just the luck of the dice Bill and part of the game.
Agree wholeheartedly with this - sometimes you just happen to catch people in an unfortunate part of the track. Let's also not forget that someone being lapped, might themselves be in a hard battle with someone else, so you can't necessarily expect people to compromise their own race too much, just to let you past a little faster.
... but I had to balance the grip vs power out of the corners. It seemed that unless I made the back wheels break free slightly, the rear end wanted to dig in and try to flip the car up on 2 wheels.
Exactly what are you changing to accomplish this ? As a complete setup dufus, I would really like to learn about this. However, I understand completely if you might not want to share your secrets with a potential competitor, so no hard feelings if you'd "rather not tell.."
You could of course also send me in a completely wrong direction, and sit back to laugh at the results on track..
Cheers,
Erling
