Good news for the Sharkies just went bad.
My TV is getting collected tomorow but my dad is lending me his old one which has a VGA port so I will be here for the GTC race this weekend. :-)

Looking at the top of the page I guess that a Z4M will do it in 2:09. You will have to pedal faster Burt.

Hello everyone, new guy here. I have been practicing for this race, but at an average lap of 2:20, I will not be attending this one. I have been playing this game with assists, and have learned that it is a whole different game on simulation. I did want to drop a line here and introduce myself. I will continue to hit the tracks and, hopefully join you guys in some races soon. Good luck on Road America, -Todzila

Hey todzila.
Don't worry if you aren't competitive, I'm not either but it is a big help if you can attend the races I've only been in this league for 4 or 5 months and I've improved a great deal. still not brilliant but a lot better than I was.

Welcome Todzilla, nice to see a new face, and a new face to the game clearly.
I wouldnt worry about lap times so much, consistency is the key. Its all about being smooth with your inputs and dont try and over drive it. I would make sure you have setup your wheel correctly (assuming you have one) as that will be key to helping you. Many of us have been playing this for quite a while so dont be too put off by the times. I'm sure your'll be up to speed in no time.
I tried running on friday night in the F430 but couldnt get on with it all with either of my last setups, doesnt bode well. Hope to try and sort something before the race.

I've done some laps on the 911 RS, and I'm impressed about the difference between quali laptimes and race laptimes. However til now: 2.08.3 (quali) 2.11.4 (race) I guess I should go down a bit in race trim, but at the moment I feel some bad reactions by the car. Hope to be able to race... Cu P.S Welcome aboard Todzila
