A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: There are no start lights. Suggest the start countdown feature be turned on. Avoid going off at Knickerbrook. There is a hole in the surface that you may fall into. Also avoid the RH side of the track by the first tree on the RH side after the pit lane exit. There is an invisible obstacle there.

I had saved the wrong cars Race one was fun, but I was never going to catch Geoff Race two I could do 3rd behind Daz and Geoff, or I could do 2nd behind Clive in the faster 1275 Was having some fun getting shoved around a bit, but sort of keeping up then got involved in Kurt's tangle with someone. Was too far behind to be bothered to continue. Were they supposed to be 2 x 20 laps,,, I was shot after race 1

------------------------------------------BREAKING NEWS-----------------------------------------------
In an unprecedented move, the FIA have suspended the official results for the recent races at Oulton Park in the BRSCC Trophy. The Race director ( Crispin StJohn ( known to his friends as Crusty) ) has been suspended until the enquiry is complete.
Unofficial sources are suggesting that the investigations revolve around some driver performances being artificially enhanced, and that some of the smaller class cars were not compliant with the regulations. It is understood that blood and DNA samples are being taken to identify illegal performance enhancing drugs and possible alien gene therapy.
Most of the cars involved in the races were impounded immediately after the event, but one or two competitors slipped out of the rear gate to the circuit and are being hunted by the authorities. Anyone with any information, or explanation, around these aberrant results is urged to come forward. It should be noted that there is no suggestion that the outright winner of the Trophy did anything wrong and that the investigation is focused on the lower placings.

Yes, definitely something suspicious about the fastest Mini driver, could it be he had them converted to RWD? Couple of good results in the Cortina. First one was great fun chasing Daz's Mustang & looking for a small gap to find a way past until Daz ran onto the grass at Old Hall & I could nip past. Gradually increased my advantage over the remaining laps probably due to the Mustang tyres going off. Race 2 promised a good battle with Daz again, this time both in Cortinas. Unfortunately Daz spun at the end of the first lap leaving me with a handy lead. Got lured into attempting to do a 1.47 lap & consequently had a couple of gardening moments late in the race but luckily Daz did too so still had a comfortable lead at the finish. Congrats to the class winners in both race & championship.

Result_Race1 Result_Race2 R1: could not find the rhythm I had in January in the Mustang. After two cuts in lap four I had to cruise home. R2: Cortina and me do not seem to become real friends anymore. The only possibility to achieve more in class D would have been to choose the Mustang for R2 to get a chance and a possibly nice fight against Tony but I choose the Mustang for R1 as normally I'm already very tired in R2. Of course no chance against Daz Congratulations to the winners and a big thanks to Tony for organizing this really great series. Great cars, great tracks and a great regulations. Highly appreciated.

Quote "Yes, definitely something suspicious about the fastest Mini driver, could it be he had them converted to RWD?" I asked Arnold if he had done anything with the Minis, but before he could answer Mabel hit him in the mouth with her handbag. The hospital says that he will be able to talk again in about 3 weeks, but they have serious doubts around if it will be coherent.........it rarely was before so .............................

No idea what was going on Monday night, but the moon and stars were not aligned for me like they were for Clive that is for sure... Race 1, thought I might get a bit more out of the Stang, but I've always had a particular loathing for it and never been properly quick in it. Wasn't surprised to be outpaced by Geoffers, and although I did my very best to hold him back, it got tougher and tougher lap by lap until a small error let him by. After that he was just driving away from me, and I just wandered around trying not to go off track too much as the tires were turning to mush under me..... Race 2 in the Cortina....normally gives me a fair shout at a good race, but I just couldn't find the pace at all. Did a 1.47.7 last time we were here in these, but I was a second off that in quali, half a second off Geoffers, and could do no more than a 1.48.1 in the race, all of which using the same setup as previously. Even that laptime must have been lucky as the other laps were not that close to it. Kept throwing it off the road as well, very much not my usual whilst in what is right up there as my favourite car in the game to drive. Deserved clean sweep for Geoffers, he was out of my class on the night and drove pretty faultlessly all the way . Grats to all!
