I brake just before the second large (orange?) marker board on the left, if that helps Birger.
thx, currently for me +/- 50mtr before the orange rail (second floodlight pole after the start/finish line). If the tires are warm I have little margin but every time i go little bit further i miss the corner (locking up). Tried to change the braking bias to the rear (but if i do it to much i have understeer and turn around in the corner (setting now 60/61 to 50/49. Another problem is that i'm not able to trial brake in to T1 and Parobolica. Maybe setting problem or driver problem. Currently still happy with my progress fastest not improved a lot (54.1) But the pace is now high 54 / very low 55. grts

I can't trail brake much with these. All the weight is at the rear, they handle (to me) like old Porsches I have to drive very carefully or I lose the back end.

Yes, of course you can, you may use whatever setup changes suit you.

you could try pushing the bias forward 1 or 2 clicks. You can try my setup if you like? It is probably a little easier to drive than Geoffs, (read "slower") but may be more stable I tend to lock the fronts, but if I push the bias back it gets wobbly on corner entry: https://phspok1.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/Race/setups/2020-05-24_02-51-48_formula_raceroom_juniorMatt1.svm

Yes, of course you can, you may use whatever setup changes suit you. i know, but my question is do you have any tips for my problem Sorry misunderstood your question . As Matt (phspok) said, moving brake bias forward should allow you to brake a little later. However more improvement in laptime will come by improving the way the car gets out of corners, braking later can often compromise your corner exit.

Well done all I hope Biribiri enjoyed his 1st race with us I had the brakes too far back, and took the nosecone off in race 1, which strangely made the back more loose Liked the cool air in the heat of Monza so much that I smashed it off in race 2 as well Enjoyed that more than I expected, fell off too much, but always someone to race with

Good setup, only 0.2sec slower (but more consistent lap times). Only problem was that only after 8/10min i had the temps (in only the outside tires). During quali lowerth the pressure (but was afraid to change too much). First race fun, not that much fighting but was already happy not being lapped. Second race, fun with the reversed grid. Didn't backed off in T1, but didn't fight too much to people who where faster in quali. Happy to stay in the group for 4/5 laps behind Markus. 1 little fight with you half way, but again if you are alongside me, i will brake a little bit earlier than normal, that i don't push people offtrack in my first race. see ya

Exactly, we do try to be fair here, sometimes hard racing, but never deliberate bad driving.

Good racing again with Markus and Geoff, but I kept getting distracted by the messages coming up at the s/f line and missing my braking for T1 (rubbish excuse I know..). Caused 2 spins, one in each race - the first one only lost me a few seconds and carried on fine; the second time I got stuck against the barrier and reversed onto the track into the path of another car, Pete I think. Unforgivable on my part, sorry Pete I thought I had more time, hope it didn't ruin your race.
Congrats Markus and Geoff, and welcome Birger.

Yes it was two very intense races. It was hard but fair (I hope). In the second race Geoff was too far away, if the race was two laps longer it would have been an interesting finish. Grats to Geoff, Matt and Peter. Hello Birger, great driving! Cu next thursday.

That went better than expected I wasn't really quick enough to get a podium but lucked in on the first race when I came across a recovering Geoff. Was having to drive within myself as I was pretty tired last night and this showed by my total lack of reaction to coming across as stranded Dieter and just crashed in to him. I'm sure on a better day I could have improved the outcome for both of us. I was sorry to see you quit.
