With you now and that would indeed be good. No promises, as the other gents are doing server stuff at the mo, but I'd be interested to hear some comparison between a few of those monsters around there so will do that asap. Have you tried the Longback yet? Its "interesting"

Forgot to ask by the way, did Bill Thomas sort out his connection woes ?  He seemed to be the only guy who couldnt get on last night  I know Goldtap 57? was having same troubles but then he joined okay later on. Perhaps he could let Bill know what he did to fix it.

Thanks Mark.  Last night was a disaster tried everything I and others could think of.

After a lot of thought I dumped the lot, P&G and GTR2 and started again from scratch.  Installed GTR 2 plus the 2.1 update and all tracks cheat.  As I don't use GTR 2 anymore I went for option 2 - use GTR2 as the basis for P&G and installed 2.0 and 2.1.

Result totally different opening screens today P&G V2.1 retaining the P&G 2.0 format.  Last night I had a GTR2 format at V2.1 with large black choice Buttons for Single Player and Multiplayer.  No wonder I had suspected cheat.

Tonight checked have long tailed 906, 906/8 etc.  Went on line at Donington GP and joined successfully.

Contrary to your server status Westwood Park is not available.  Would like to check out on our server, say after 2000 hrs

As for numpties, it was a numpty driving issue. I am sure the guy isnt a numpty and i apologise for using the reference. I dont want to ruin the spirit of our historics racing. But equally i dont want it ruined by any bad driving that takes people out of the race and wasting their evening. We've all had contacts that we didnt want to happen in the past. Anyone malicious wouldnt last 5mins on here.

I see you've already loaded Spa (a decent track, but one that seems to be driven far too often) & I wondered if you'd be kind enough to add another track or two that can be cycled through too (via the next event button).

I've been chatting with Blunder & we're planning to give P&G some more air time this weekend, but I just can't face Spa again so soon (see GTR2).

eurk...what a naff line up    other than sebring, suzuka and Mugello that is    I think the idea was 'tracks to stretch the legs of the cars on'  the latter 3 i just took out your list would fit that bill though, albeit with a lot of tricky corners in too.

Those three would be just fine by me. I don't think I've driven any of them at any point, so that would be good. I've got no track to learn for the next week or so (currently  ).

Gentlemen,
Some of you may be aware of the Desktop Wallpaper I put together for the guys over at GBGTL/PnG etc.  I wondered if any of you might be interested in me producing one for UKGTL/PnG.

Let me point out I am no artist (I’m probably a better Sim driver, which shows how poor I am).  All I do is search the web for cartoons of cars and race suits then marry them with the photo you will hopefully send me.

To give you an idea of what it looks like some of your fellow drivers have agreed that I can post the following






Although it says PnG my hope is to make it for all the Sports/GT/Historic car racing covered by UKGTL

So if you are interested please send a head & shoulders photo about 7x5 showing yourself facing the camera or just slightly to one side to

Advice Please

With two different league P&N V2.1 races next week, in anticipation of the proliferation of downloads as with GTL, I want to make multiple copies of P&N so I can have one per league.

Do I have to go through 2 more setup from the GTR2 disc and P&N downloads, or can I just make 2 more copies of my new virgin P&N V2.1 and just rename eg P&N V2.1 SimRacing?

I'd appreciate the experience of other members.
