Good luck with that PR and don't worry there will be more PnG days ahead Smiley This isn't gonna change date.

I will be on server Monday night for further testing, I'll try and get there as soon as I can, and Paul will also try and make it I believe. An impromptu ickle race would be nice.

Nice times Legzy, I suggest you try some slower cars Wink So far mid 28's to 29's seems about right but we will know more soon.

I can't make monday Ian for the usual reason, although easter monday should be an exception.

sub 29s in the 250 are very unlikely for me.

an 'ickle un-official race monday eve would suit me just fine  Wink ...though if thats possible, why dont we just make that night race night Huh You could even extend the normal practise session beforehand if people want extended testing. Just a thought. angel

Anyone about today for some praccy lappage ?  Only 1:32s for me so far in the 250GTO. Will try some other cars i think too.

Why do you think we have given people time to prepare a setup and for race? Are you really arguing that giving the undecided just three days (and over the weekend as well) preparation time is the way forward? Its a shame you can't make it but perhaps you could move on now. Ta.

hehe, whatever makes you feel better Ginsters  Kiss

1:31.5 in the F250-C  (ton of understeer followed by power oversteer)
1:30.0 in the E-Type 5spd  (refined and fast)
1:29.1 in the Cobra roadster (a blast around here)
1:30.8 in the Vette C2 Z06  (great fun drifting through the corners but understeer costs it in two corners).

Enjoying the E-type and Cobra around here, feels really racey unlike the Fezza which feels like a chore.

Anyone see the Goodwood Revival shown again on ITV4 yesterday? Puts you in the mood for the race here. One of the grids had pretty much all the cars we use here  Cool

Yeah, having seen a good few other chaps on the server & their times, I was ready for you to 'upgrade' me  Tongue
Moved myself up a class to the Group B Cobra Roadster & go that down to 1:28.6 (+ quite a few visits to the grass Grin)
Also had a brief crack in the Group B Shelby 350 CASC & quickly got mid 1:29's

Going to have a blast on the server now with Ade.

p.s. I too am keen enough to turn up Monday night for a race/practice.  Kiss

Sorry to poke a stick in the wasps nest  Wink but tonight i noticed one of our drivers struggling a good 4 seconds off pace in their class of car, so i bunged him a setup from my slow Jag to the lightweight 5 speed Jag (didn't go to well) i was running on 80%  diff Grin , after taking the lightweight out for a run myself (my that thing goes Shocked low 1:27s) I calmed it down a bit for said driver then  he knocked a good 3 seconds off his time Shocked  i think putting the slower/less agile drivers  in the faster and or harder to handle cars starts to look a bit crazy when you think about it Huh unless we can sort out some good stable base setups for the drivers who are struggling with this fine MOD.
taz I wanna drive a fast car  Sad

just a late night booze induced thought.

Oh yeah! 1:29.076 in my slow Jag Cool very nice drive Grin don't think i can get any more out of it Sad

                                                        Thanks Ade

I'm not sure thats true. The gents allowed to drive faster Cobra and Daytona appeared to handle them well last time out? True they are faster but trickier to get on right pace? Appreciate some feedback  Smiley However, I'm sure we could all do with a hand so some base setups will be handy (I'll put mine in !srou file).

We race at Goodwood, while the server is set to Westwood?
Might we have a practice/pre-race session tonight around 8 pm?  Smiley

server was goodwood late last night TT, so assume it still is.

8pm is fine by me (or anytime from 6pm onwards as missus is away  Grin )

I am still undecided on what car to take, each one i take out around here feels great fun. The vettes feel fabulous drifting through the corners on the throttle  Cool
