Can't stand the track as it has no flow at all. I don't really like the TC cars either apart from the trans-am mustang, so I'll sit this one out. Have fun  Smiley

Your welcome to take that then Paul, don't worry about your pace, we all want to have fun in these races. The Abarth is much fun mind Wink I'm struggling with these cars as well. They didn't light my fire at Brno either but I'm sill hopefull they will spark with me soon.

All in the fullness of time my good man. I'm interested in how people enjoy these cars first but don't worry, PnG enduro time cometh Wink

I might try the arbath as I seem to remember it was fun at Brno (even if I was dog slow in it). Running away in a mustang wouldn't be much fun.

Manteos, we're lucky enough to have Team Speak here, you'll see details near the top of this thread.
One of the best things about TS, is that you can see if somebody is definitely online (though people can be online & not on TS).
For example, I've sometimes been just checking out the forum & seen that Ade is on TS, so have jumped on to see which game he's playing (GTL/P&G/GTR2) & span some laps with him for a bit. It's always more fun with other people.  Grin

I'm sure I'll see you online over the weekend at some point.

Legzy

p.s. For TS, you need a mic really but a couple of people are logging in without, to hear the banter & can still type replies in 'game chat'.

Can't stand the track as it has no flow at all.
Straight jacket for Paul  Wink
So doesn't that make it a challenge, they've crammed everything into the course they possibly could & have you twisting & turning each way when you're not ready. That's the challenge flow of this track.  drool

I've not tried these cars since Brno, but I hadn't caught the flow of this game back then yet & am looking forward to giving my favourite class of car (in GTL) another run out. Ginsters, I'm as happy as a pig in poo 7 could only be more excited with an enduro  Grin.

I think the GR5 abarth is needed to 'compete' in any sense of the word. I was nearly 15 secs slower (2.50!) than the mustang (2.36) in the GR2 (not surprising with only 88 hp!). GR 5 was much closer (2.41) but still 2-3 secs slower than the alfa junior (2.38). I enjoyed the GR5 more though  Smiley

Hi guys, today i tried for the first time in Thermalito, and after 12 laps i made a 2.34.7 with mine italian Alfa GTA. Anyway if it's possible i like to run with the Alfa, otherwise tell me which car i can choose in one of the four group. Thanks guys! See You!

I think I can say for certain that you won't be allowed anything as fast as a GTA judging by your pace. I would expect to be in group 1 so you will have to choose from the group D cars, whatever they are.

I too was bombing about in the Alphas with Paul & Manteos online. While they were both impressively doing mid 2:34's... I was left feeling somewhat inadequate with my meager 2:38.5's ready to race :'( Embarrassed Wink
I'll report some more of my times as I get them.

I want two pints of whatever Legzy's on.
Messy track, nasty bumps, and awkward corner after awkward corner. Reminds me of an arcade game with the sweepers under
tunnels.
And, mostly I don't like it 'cos i'm crap at it.
1:50 in mini 142 in Alfa.

At the moment nothing is decided other than the group of cars which will be used because we don't know the relative pace of the cars. Hopefully there will be some groupings announced in the next day or 2.
