No probs madd, I'm just glad i saw you coming and tried to avoid you Its the kind of track where you going to get alot of door rubbing with the tight twisty corners. Interesting baptism of fire into another season!

My sad story was I tried and tried to get past Ginsters, but Alfa didn´t have power to hold its position at the straights, and I made a desperate maneuver last lap and went wide, where S Blood got past me. Nice racing, thanks all and grats to podium!

Awful, attempt at racing on my part, many apologies to all and sundry, particulary Pribeiro and spanner, disgusting and disgusted with my pace and racecraft tonight. Madd, it was nothing, just a little touch and you waited for me. So, no problem mate.

well that was a larf, passed some unfortunates who had a coming together early on had an almost race long tussle with Capn Blood, with Dyno impatiantly nipping at me heels for a while, then Bill gets in the middle of the tarck while being lapped by 3 people at once (eeeekkkkk!!!) I come off worst and Dyno dives through, passes S Blood after a while, then I catch, almost, and sometimes actually pass Blood, then either go wide or can't make the pass stick.. some jolly good side by side stuff through many turns early on was tough as each time i got close he would warp some, good race mind Dyno lucked out at end while harrowing SBG, and BBlood whips through on last lap. I nearly went into the fence in the last two turns, as a Cavalier suddenly appeared on the track (Neighbour's dog decided to jump up and be friendly)

Good race trying to get passed SBG and Lazlow , this track is hard to pass on as alot of the corners lead into each other ,(with the added great defensive driving form Lazlow and SBG ). I agree with Steve that the track feels a bit vague and is way to wide . Grats to podium. See you at Laguna! Cheers

Great turnout tonight and brilliant to see some new faces even after all this time the track feels a bit vague and is way to wide .
It suited my driving perfectly Never had to work so hard for a podium and enjoyed that immensely. Doesn't get much better than trying to hold up Dan whilst chasing Matt Real shame Matt fell away as it felt like that one could run and run. Congrats on another fine pass (that becoming a nasty habit ) but glad I made you work hard for it Dan. Just settled down after that and had all of 5 laps easy going until a green Alfa, they are rather "conspicuous", caught me. My tyres were shredded (never usually a problem but went real bad here) but I managed somehow to hold Dyno up just long enough. Great and fair stuff when it would have been easy to clatter me. One more lap and I would have lost 3 places Unlike Monday, gotto say I didn't feel guilty holding you gents up as that was ruddy hard work. Knackered. Congrats to Dan, Lazlow and the other muscle car idjuts

Oh that Falcon was hard work First ever time I've been brave enough to race with it. Then made a last minute tweak to the rear toe... which was a mistake (shocker! ), lost my rear a few times because of that I think. Sorry to everyone I bumped, rubbed, got in the way of, frightened, etc. Big sorry to Bill. My car just was not as stable as it had been & my braking was shot at the end of that straight. Took us both out, waited till you joined me on the track. Sorry mate. Then you went off again at the next corner (LOL), I just didn't think it would be cricket to drive off at that point, so waited again. I think we both lost almost 50 secs that lap Sorry again. I enjoyed driving the Falcon, especially the first four laps while it was all bunched up. But my fear was that with my slower overall pace in the Falcon (then my Alpha time), I'd be left behind & would miss all the fighting. It happened. From lap 9 to 22 there was a 25sec gap ahead & behind. Shame really. I guess I need to put more work into those muscle cars before I brave them again. Well done to Lazlow & Tinman, you two at least did Team Oldie proud.

That was my first online in GTL and I have to say I enjoyed it very much. Quali went ok but I was just outside the top 10, which was fine by me as I simply didn't know what to expect. The start was interesting as not all the cars had loaded on my screen! Thankfully I didn't hit anyone so all was well. I lost a couple places avoiding a barrol-rolling car on the downhill section at one point but by the end of the first lap I found myself into 5th. It was then a matter of keeping position and me and Matt had an epic battle through most parts of the race. I gained a place into 4th at some point although I'm not quite sure how. Eventually I lost a place to Dyno halfway through the race when I ran wide at the first corner and then lost the back end when braking at the end of the straight. The front end smashed into the barrier and came back onto the track but kept 5th, and me and Matt resumed battle once more. With a couple laps to go, I saw Dyno and Ginsters battling for 3rd a few seconds ahead of me. I managed to close the gap and after Dyno made a slight error, I nabbed 4th on the last lap. I couldn't overtake Ginsters before the end of the race but 4th is a much better result that what I was expecting. See you all next race

Mmmm, interesting race... Didn't want to go for my standard No.1 pick Alfa , so decided to to start with the Falcon . Already did 8 practicelaps with it so it felt very comfortable First few laps were fun racing between all those other cars and trying to keep them behind you in the twisty part of the track. Unfortunately I had to use more track than there was and ended up in some barriers . With all the faster guys gone( almost everyone) I had some fun with Jimmer for a few laps. Overall, great track and a fun car to drive. See you all next week.
