Well I did get to race in the end after a couple of people dropped out. But not one of my better races, I just couldn't get the hang of driving the 906 here. I'm sure my setup for the car is way off, need to spend more time with it. Did have some good battles though, notably with Seniordan & Matt, who gave me a couple of playful bumps to get me to go a bit faster . Sorry if my lines were a bit odd Matt, as I say, I think my setup was way off. Congrats to the podium. Cya all at Nurburgring.

Phew!!!! I need to have a long rest now in a dark room. TT and Lazlow made sure I couldn't rest. Thanks for waiting Lazlow. I thought that I had just got that wrong on my own until I looked at the replay. I find it very difficult to make much progress with PnG because the first time that I find out how each track should be done is when we race. Up until then I'm in my own little world..................which then gets blown away about 30min into practice. (Vogons I think! I didn't have my bable fish in my ear so don't know what they were saying.) Congrats to the podium And to Legzy too for filling the server! Tough act to follow Mike!

Tough race for me tonight. I'd blame lack of pracci, but in truth I just made a real mess of it. Don't think I did 2 laps the same and therefore never got into a rhythm. Clipped the grass on the long left hander out of the esses and waited to rejoin. When I did I couldn't get up enough speed as I saw TT (I think) approaching and struggling to avoid me in my mirrors. Sorry matey, hope the contact didn't cause you too much damage Congrats to Manteos, Ian and Mike at the front and bad luck those who weren't able to get on the grid. Edit: Sorry MJ; wasn't sure who it was

Ah yes, my control of 906s is not great, every corner is a barely controlled crash, and here for me their intolerance of kerbs made them harder than they needed to be, and had me all over the road at times, not good for close quarters knife fights.

Your passess were clean Ian. Bonni, Ian and I were tripping over each other. Ian and I were just a tad quicker than Bonni, but he had fantastic lines and positioned his car well. Passing was difficult at this track. I made numerous mistakes all due to my lack of practice and preperation. On lap 8 or 9, Madd-Ripp fell out (sorry dude) with a disco and I drove right through his car. My car was never the same after that. I developed serious understeer and went off a couple of times. I didn't have anything for Ian after that.
Congrats on the win Manteos. Very nice pass in T1 on lap 2 or 3. Fantastic pace Ian.
Sorry to see you leave the event Bonni. Like Ian said earlier, that's not how things normally go down. I throroughly enjoyed the battle with you and can clearly see you really know how to drive well.

Pull your socks up boys! Chris, I think that the forum nickname of Bonni is "bimbonos". Tell me if it's right About my race, I've got to thank my faithful VDA mates that helped me so much to gain more than 13 seconds on Ian, and then i administrated my advantage till the end. Only a big mistake at the 12th lap ca. when my car spun with the left tyres on the grass, but I was really a lucky guy, and my car reported no damage. Then after this big lucky strike I kept my pace till the end, but with a lot of fear, because it was really a strange situation for me to lead a race for about 16 lap... it's not an habit for me... I have to clap my hands for the great overtake done by madd at the second lap, great manouvre!!! Then I can only say that Ian and madd made me a present for my return to race, making 2 mistakes that made their life difficult... however that's racing, and sometimes happens even to the strongest! I'm really happy for my first win here in UKP&G champ in a champ race, after more than one year I race with you, that's such a good result for my moral and it happens after my recent troubles, that shows that my ankle and my right foot, are the same as ever!!! Thanks to everybody, and we will see for the next one! p.s. about the tap to Bonni, he just forgived it Ian... as I said before, that's racing, and it happens. He accept your excuse, but he doesn't speak english, and I can only report his words Cu

Arrrggghhh, that was a frustrating race I really surprised myself in qually with a 1:22, yesterday I was doing 1:25's so no idea where the extra speed came from. I took it nice and easy for the first few laps, and with oily breathing down my neck on lap 4, I missed the brake marker on the fast turn after the back stretch and went straight into the gravel and the barriers. Teach me to look where I'm going, not the XD info That didn't help the handling, but I soldiered on, until 3/4 laps from the end when one of the G25 clamps came off the desk. I quickly pulled off track and fixed it, so I thought, but I hadn't and the wheel came off in my hands & clipped hotkeys when rejoining. Sorry After a bit more fiddling I managed to get the wheel sorted and brought the car back in last place.... Great track, hope we race there again! The sun & reflections in the early part of qually made turn 1 tough! Alex, you were brave going for the Langheck. It is probably the worse 906 for Suzuka!

Pc hung and crashed again, not amused, starting to lose patience and thinking of knocking all of this on the head, wasting what little time I have spare only for the thing to die on me. PS Congrats to podium btw

PS Congrats to podium btw I know how you feel. Both PnG and GPL have taken me there many times. As for now, it's only the Gamebooster thing that Ade put me on to that keeps me running. Every time that I load a new track I have to use it to defrag the PnG folder or the pc will hang or CTD.

That would be a real shame Matt. I, for one, have enjoyed the fight this season Any clue as to why your pc is wonky?

How I understand your feelings unlucky Madd. Last year same issues put me out on 5 races. I hope you get it sorted very soon. Lets begin with the excuses. Track is nice. The 906 never suited my driving stile lack of skills very well. I have some construction work in my bathroom and the worker was there untill 20.15. I never had been at Suzuka with a 906 and I have lost all the practice session. Therefore I was quite happy with a 9th grid position and even more happy when for a while I ran in 5th. But then I made 2 mistakes in 2 laps (you know, those that we spin over the kerbs) Anyway, API and Truetom (was nice to meet you again in a duel after so long TT) made my night worth. Thank you both. Excellent attend last night, unfortunately some were not able to join. Well done again Master Legzy. Congrats to Manteos (Isn't it better to stay in recover more 2 months? You know, to get sure that everything is really fine....) and to podium finishers and well done to all. Cheers

Got hobbled early on by a wayward Ade in the middle of the track, even if it seemed as though i was going backwards anyway. But then had fun trying to get back up the field. Sorry to Alex for nudging you off through 130R, though with Steve going off up the inside anyway i'm not sure one of us wasnt going anyway! Then slowly managed to gain a few places with people going off and seemed to be gaining over the last few laps but never got close to another spot.
