BTW, the CA66 mod AT engine, which is in all cars, has max power around 6,500 rpm. All the cars are 4 speeds with a top speed of around 177 to 181 mph on a long oval.

So what counts is weight and handling...

I will take the product of Jim Hall again, imo the best of this time Wink

Look if you have multiple restore points, if you have the restore system set to short intervalls it can eat lots of GB too Wink

Delete all but the last known working point

All BRM engined cars have their 6 speed gearbox Wink

Silverstone is allways papyrus  - silver

For all mods we use the 60fpsV2newmod (69X-> V1)

for all tracks we use the 77...gap fix

you can try the 78..tire bug fix - slower on straights but better tyre temps all over - should make better lasting..

The 65 version was made because of the big holes the old version had  Grin

Oups, Fulvio how do you get I don't like Italian people Shocked
My favorite dish is Spaghetti con Sugo di Gorgonzola chef
Imo you are a fair and good experienced driver.

I really apologize for this side contact  I Am Not Worthy

One of the stupidest races I've ever done,
I don't like such "Mickey Mouse" tracks at all because, as Clive said, you can only deep breathe for 2-3 seconds per lap at most.
That really causes problems for an old man in the 8th decade Roll Eyes

I had a comfortable gap to Fulvio which I was able to manage over the last few laps as he was fighting with this other guy.
But then Tom came into play, for whom I opened all the barn doors for almost half a lap expecting he will pass quickly and and I can go on,
but he didn't (couldn't) use the opportunities until I was completely out of rhythm and hit the grass... Shocked
I hadn't seen the action Fulvio had commited out of the hairpin, so was wondering what was going on. I had seen blue flags and had to let Tom by...

What really p..d me were the comments after the race from people not understanding what had happened.
I waited to comment until I had talked to Tom and understood how it went.

PS
it's the layout and kind of the track I have a problem with.
The atmosphere, realism and the finish is superior made by Pete!!!

Dont see how you can compare ramp angles without including clutch No's , are they not interactive ?

+1

The only value that counts is the locking percentage - computed from RA and clutches - look into Lees "Setup Manager" Wink

Well, I looked into my archive and found 3 MA setups

Funny I am doing this and do not claim to be alien, my brake bias is mostly 49 at some tracks 48

I simply was looking for a method of stable braking - SCX Ford MK4 360kph to 65kph Mulsanne....

I watched the braking replay in the SCX gearbox view (90° side) and learned wich tyre locks first,
so I reduced the BB to the value I had a good feeling and could smoothly go further into acceleration.

Of course a load cell brake where you can dose the braking helps a lot, and left foot braking.

2 years ago I would have proposed Masaki Asano setups for beginners, he had modified the Huttu setups for normal drivers...

Matt,
get a Robert Fleurke setup at groundhog/weekly,
if there is no Imola take a Nurburg as a balanced base (http://www.formulado.hu/weekly/?p:crank/files/)
I prefer an easy handling car here - Fez or BT24...

This track needs many laps routine and a good rhythm of shifting down!

Yes a hard race for me too, starting with a big pain in my back and was mostly busy to avoid any hurting move...

Yeah, Pete sorry for the takeout, those cars have the early new tyre-model of GPL and tend to sudden snap over when temps reach 80°
I promise the SC71 are better!

Grats Yannick and Greg - but don't forget Clive made a 2:12 too in the ChapE Grin
