This is no problem!  You go 10 left, 10 right, 10 left . . .  so you do not get dizzy.

Maybe 11 left, or the race is very long.

A lap is ~43sec!

With the ChapF you have to lift the throttle only 2x per lap  ;)

I can send you a setup if you want it...

PS

I just tested CA71 -> 36 sec flat ;D

It is too bad that day dreaming does not equate to faster improve my lap times.

I will be happy if I am able to practice a little before the qualifying session.

Also with the Ferrari is the same but anyway are 120 time ;D
I have found a setup but is not understandable to me in which way is possible to avoid the overheating of the front external tire.

With the Ferrari I have no lift ;)

Best way to avoid cooking tires is : do not slide!!! it is even faster.

As you should know there is a bug in the tire temp model, so ignore the middle temp, as it is wrong!

A yellow pribluda tire temp is no problem for GT tires! You will feel when it is too hot ;D

I don't know if I can stay awake for more than 1. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring. The only GPL track I've ever been tempted to delete from my hard drive.

Might show for the F2 race, if it looks like a decent draft battle without too much tire management.

Til then, have "fun".

Dean tbh the F2s are boring here...

But the SC and CA cars are very much fun here.
This track is way more challenging than Indy and a race is made by the drivers and not by the track  ;)
Of course not everybody is an oval fan and I was longtime not a friend of such tracks, but I found some great racing at ovals.
Afair you are one of the towing specialists, so I thought you could be a real competitor.

Great race with Greg until my engine blew in 38th lap...

Sorry Francesco for the contact in T1, I kept the lower line. Was there warp involved?

From the replay was not a warp. You have lost the rear during the acceleration and your rear have touched my car.The consequence was a wall ;D.
Fortunately the consequence for the race result is nothing, having accumulated enough vantage.

Good race, congrats Greg, Cookie and Fran! I nearly traded paint with Iestyn on the first lap. Iestyn kept a high line, and he just managed to squeeze past. I'm glad that nothing happened because it would have been my fault. David Rainier, Iestyn and myself enjoyed some close racing for the first part of the race. I was not able to get past until the other car lost control.

I wanted to close the gap to Fran, but the best that I could do is match his pace. I pushed too hard. Eventually I lost control, and consequently lost even more time.

I wasn't able to fully enjoy the close racing because my FPS were stuck at 30 for the first few laps. After that, the FPS returned to a solid 60 for the rest of the race. I suspect that the draw distance may have been set too far? Thank you to Greg and Iestyn for giving suggestions to try to fix the problem.

Yes it was. I wasn't expecting a win here. I just wanted to stay out of trouble and hopefully make the podium. The thought of winning never crossed my mind until your engine exploded. That gave me a bit of a fright considering how close I was following.

Early, Axel and I fought hard. Lots of side by side racing. I lead one lap early in the race thinking I might be a little faster than Axel at that point. Axel wasn't going to let me lead for long. I noticed Fran was staying somewhat close so I backed off a bit hoping Axel would pick up the pace so we could leave Fran and Iestyn behind. Which we did. Later I had to back off a bit further because Axel's car starting warping some. Alt + L yielded .190 L and .999 Q at that time. Those are good readings considering my distance to the server. Shortly after that we started closing on Iestyn to lap him. I got a little worried Axel could use Iestyn's tow to break away from me so I turned up the heat. When your engine exploded Axel, I hadn't even begun to think about how I might try to pass late in the race. Up to that point I was only thinking about us opening a huge lead so I could finish at least 2nd no matter what might happen.

I don't like Michigan much either Dean. Only good thing about it is, it doesn't take much time to set up the car and it's making me anticipate Zolder far more than I would otherwise. This is mainly a points gathering exercise, spending little time on practice.

Thanks guys. Once again, I appreciate you letting me race with you.
