Server is now hosting Silverstone for the 2hr endurance race practice with the 1.1 patch installed.

Good job I have a DVD reader as well as a writer as the writer refuses to recognise the GTR2 disk, tried 5 other DVDs and they are all ok, just the GTR2 one that isn't Sad

Same here, my game rig has a lite on dvdrw and refuses to read only one disc...................... gtr2  Roll Eyes , everything else i tried was fine  Undecided
So ill need a no cd patch before i "upgrade" to 1.1 Angry

I'm back to it taking me between 3 and 5 goes for it to get past the spinning CD icon (presumably the Securom?) and actually into GTR2. Angry Might try digging out an older drive and installing it temporarily to see if that helps.

What do I do with a 37mb .rar file?

Tried online, says 'incompatible game types'

What do I do?

Use your favourite un'raring program to extract the exe and run that. RAR is like zip, if you don't have a tool 7-zip is free and understands these things

No, Nye says he will do a patch for it after the holidays, so until then no PD monitor for GTR2 1.1.

Pity, oh well, back to the old fashioned way of doing fuel and tyre estimates then. Cheesy
