Something else to bear in mind is that my intention is to restyle the UKiR pages, along the lines of the UKGPL ones (but less green Wink ), so the logo doesn't have to fit with the SRou grey-blue colour scheme. I was going to go with blue and red but we'll probably get accused of looking like the iRacing site (but more professional, obviously Cheesy ).

I don't think we can be accused of mimicking the iRacing site, just using a couple of themes (the colours of the logo really). We can ask Tim what the interpretation is on that.

OK, I've got the media pack. Reading the doc it seems we need to display their 'unofficial site' notice. Not sure if this is needed if we don't show their logo. If anyone wants the pack, pm me your email addr and I'll send it over.

In theory we need to display this image:

Can't say I like it though  Sad I will ask Tim if we can't display it as before, because the iRacing image is clearly a link to a different site.

Dave, is there anywhere else on the page that is less obvious than the header where we could put the unofficial thing?

Tim has asked if we could put the unofficial in the footer - is that possible?

It's only code - of course, if it's in the footer, most people will never see it. laugh

Quite! But if it satisfies him then who cares?  Cheesy I think he realises that we won't be mistaken for iRacing.

Here is the latest effort, and the same thing with Simon's suggestion about not touching the edges:

I like, the second one. I think the border of colour around the letters is better and as the red continues the lines of the K that still works.

Its clearer, but less stylised, and to me a Logo should be stylish. I'm easy though on which one to use. Any other opinions?

I have no graphical ability at all & could not do as good a job... & while I agree with Simon that the last one is the best so far, I don't like them anywhere near as much as the UKGTR design (by Glen Van Winkle): Seen Here

No way of sticking to something along those lines for all the SIMS?
