Practice: 19:45 BST (30 mins) Qual 2: 20:15 (22 mins) Race: 20:30 ~ 40 Mins Cars allowed: NSU TTS Track: Nordschliefe Time of Day Setting: 13:00 Weather: DryStart: Standing Tyre wear: NormalFuel consumption: NormalPit-stops: None requiredServer: Simracing.org.uk E3H Password: see aboveChampionship StandingsNotes:(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally) (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. (5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface) Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

How many laps would that be? Ideally the time will round up to a lap. WE always ran 40 min races in P&G, so more than 30 is not an issue. I will make it 40, but can you post some times?
Also, is there a short cut for qual? 15 mins is not likely to be enough to post a time with an outlap as well Ta

I'm stuck down in London this week, so hence my request. No biggie, I can have a go at weekend. There is a short cut in GTL and P&G versions. never tried in this one yet.

OK thanks. So, Nordschliefe - Nordschliefe is around 10 mins 10/15 secs for quick humans. So at 40 min event time whether it becomes 4 lap or 5 laps depends on how fast the leader goes. I "think" it will announce the final lap when the leader passes the finish line after 40 mins.

Thanx Martin
I think 11 minutes is good,
For qualifying leave it 15 minutes, it makes it interesting for a super pole shoot out, you can turn outlap off buy selecting personal qualifying season, so that means we will be alone on track. Also the actual AI run the GP lap the first lap, then they do the whole lap for the second. So If we make it 15 minutes, we can all run through the bricks on our fisrt lap. I hope this makes sense..
Any

Matt, Maybe I had the wrong layout setting but the Leaderboard was showing folks with times in the 8 min + region.
Also I think you need to remove the Championship Standings link in the Race Announcement.

I did 11 mins last night using the VLN config. If we don't use that, or the full GP extension, won't the short cut using the final turn on the plain GP track not be available. Or is there a short cut for just the plain Nordschliefe without any GP circuit?
Also there is no tyre / fuel / engine damage when doing the leaderboard thing. The car's gears can not be changed and there are several bits of the track where you're maxed out in 4th gear. Are we just going to kill the engines?

I could change the gears in non-leaderboard praccy. There was one part of the track where the revs in 4th redlined.

Sorry - you're right you could change gears. But unless it works the opposite to what I thought I could only shorten them, must confess I didn't go on track and test that.

I did a few laps some weeks ago, and though it did red line on the final straight I had no engine damage. I am using the Nords- Nords layout, rather than the one that does some of the new track... I think Can't do any testing until I get home.
