All members welcome. This will be the third race of a short series designed to test the new GT1 and GT2 cars in a competitive setting. Practice 1: | 20:00 | (10 mins) | Qual 2: | 20:10 | (15 mins) | Race: | 20:25 | (80 mins) | note: no warmup! | Cars allowed: Any GT1 from the v2.8.9.1 pack (download from here) It would be good to have a mix of original and add-on cars.Weather: changeable, based on real-world conditions at the start of the event. Track: Oschersleben GP 2004 Race Start Time: 14:00. Pit Stops: None required. Server: UKGTR Season 8.9 Password: see aboveNotes:- Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter rolling starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
- You will not be able to join the server without v2.8.9.1 of the UKGTR car pack (see download link above).
You will not see skins correctly without the optional, matching GT1 skins pack. - Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
- Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).

Bloody cheek. Look how I did round Brno in it! If we both take it, Jeff will lap me! Dunno what to take yet. GT or Aston or Lambo I think.

I'm planning on racing. One question though. Can I try different cars through out the pre season races? Or do I have to race the season itself with the car I race in this race?

Race what you want preseason... then when the season starts, pick a car to last the whole season

Hi guys I would like to participate in this race if possible. I just had a few questions. Do I need to use that file that unlocks all the tracks? Next question I have is which car is the easiest/hardest to drive and which one is the fastest/slowest car? Sorry for all the questions and I know I could just try them all out and figure it out myself but I havn't raced an ISI engine game since the F1 Challenge days. I'll need all the practice I can get to even keep up with anyone for the duration of the race. Any help/advice is much appreciated Thank you

It will make life easier in testing offline, although IIRC you can join the practice server and drive a track you haven't unlocked yet.
