Just spotted that they have released a Group 5 car pack which looks very tasty. If I get on with the cars I've already purchased I may well be tempted.
Remember you can test drive all cars by clicking "Store" ingame which takes you to a page where you can view all the available content. I bought the Gr5 pack, DTM '92 pack, M1 Procars and the M3 touring car along with the European and American track packs which is my historic racing fix sorted (and my pocket money well and truly blown ). I probably won't bother with the modern cars atm as AC covers that for me.

Had a trial race and loved it (maybe cos I won). I like how everything is set up and you don't have to spend hours clicking things on and off just to do a few laps. Recognised my wheel and apart from assigning some features to buttons and turning down the FFB I was good to go. Just have to work out how to get my Track IR to work as it is clearly ingame. But I think that's a Track IR thing, not a problem in this game. I have now bought the Gr.5 pack and the European track pack.

I am thinking of a possiblility, no more than that at the moment, that P&G might alternate with some events for this if there is enough interest. If it falls flat on it's face, so be it, if not it might catch on?

I'm just trying to imagine what our Clive will have to say about this I'd be up for any of the historic content

Two observations on Raceroom. Although I have realistic damage turned on, I don't see any e.g. the cars I hit don't dent? Also, compared to AC all the content are racing cars, not road cars, which is a plus IMO.

The Clives will cope. It's just a thought. I have to download more than the demo before I can pluck up enough interest to make any series of it. I like P&G and am happy to keep it going as long as it feels worth it.
I would also like to look at new possibilities. I don't get on with AC, and others are carrying that banner so maybe this deserves some of our time.

As all content is unlocked and free to use over this coming weekend (5pm Friday until 5pm Sunday I believe) it might be a good opportunity to set up some trial events

Saturday I am doing real racing at Aintree, and Sunday it's a family birthday do Sunday afternoon would not be a popular time I reckon. I want to try the historic stuff and perhaps run an event for those initially. I will see what can be done. I haven't seen any local server stuff yet I assume the races all run on their server for the moment? And, has anyone tried this is on line mode?

Well there's nothing on the telly Friday night Looks like there is a free raceroom dedicated server tool available on Steam https://steamdb.info/app/354060/I had a quick online race the other night and it all seemed to go smoothly enough.

I have put up a test server "Phspok1" with norisring and the 1992 cars if anyone would be kind enough to try it out? Password is our usual practice password.
it's not on our paid server, it's on my home brewed one. I would like to give it a whirl, Next week on Tuesday is the Interleague P&G event, (Which I forgot to advertise...)and I haven't put up an LCC event for Thursday yet so as there is already one P&G event next week, would anyone be interested in a test race next Thursday evening? usual sort of P&G times?
