Hopefully be there but off to Brugges early Friday on a coach tour for a few days, so I'll have to see how things go.
Enjoy your trip Bill. Brugges is a lovely place, beer there is pretty good too! THANKS WILL DO.

........................... what was wrong with the old version for future reference? do you mean the Full Clermont Ferrand?
Yes. Rotten thing is too much like Nurburgring! A tarmac rally.

A hell of a track. Mostly blind corners. For me the Elan is the only possible choice.
me too

Yeah, the Elan works really well on this very entertaining track. If I use the soft tyres, I can get a 2.13 lap, but it looks as if the tyres won't last the whole race. What laptimes R U guys doing ? Stig / Hotkeys

For reference, my own best times are:
914 - 2:12.0 Elan- 2:12.3 Cobra- 2:12.6
Hopefully different people will like different cars, Surprised Elan is coming up as the easier to drive choice I was all over the place in it, and my best time is very not consistent.
Mike is still Championship Boss, I am "assisting" a little more actively at the moment.

Should be able to make this one. I'd normally take the Elan, but the 914 is the fun choice (for me anyway). After a couple of laps I'm just into the 2:10s but it's a bit leary over those crests.

Yes. Rotten thing is too much like Nurburgring! A tarmac rally. Can't wait for the Targa conversion to be finished so we can have a race on it - Will love to see your opinions Clive

2:10 sounds quick.

2:10 IS quick My times were best of 9 laps in each car with race fuel I guess the 914 and Elan will benefit more from low fuel. Though I still believe the 914 will be struggling for pace in the last half dozen laps Whereas the Cobra will be going faster with someone who is used to it. I could probably get low 11's with low fuel and some setup tweaking. DOn't care who planned it, I am rather looking forward to this one. From past experience here, It will be fun even if everyone takes a 914
