FUN RACE
Practice: 20:00 (30 mins) Qual: 20:30 (15 mins) Race: 20:45 (30 mins)
Cars allowed: P2 PROTOTYPES
Circuit: Road America Time of Day Setting: 13:00 Weather: Dry
Start: Standing start Rolling Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Pit-stops: none required
Notes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. (5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface) Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Just logged in to the Store and P2 Class appears to include,
Chevi Daytona Prototype DMD P21 Mistral M531 Radical SR9 AER Radical SR9 Judd
Apparently I own them all, that's surprised me as I don't recall using any of them.

I threatened to use P2 ages ago, and they are/were one of the options for my next group of series... If Stephen runs them, then I won't

I like the P2 cars so might give this a go. I need to see if I can squeeze Raceroom onto my Hard disk again as I've had it uninstalled for a while now.

Didn't realise they were on your list, I am just trying out a few different car types to guage interest for later in the year. My next RRE series starting in a few weeks time will be DTM 2020

Haven't tried these cars for ages, still on the old old tyre model but don't seem too bad at Road America. Any reason we're doing standing start and not rolling? Do all the cars have TC?

I decided on a standing start as it was only a fun race and I find that the cold tyre effect seems a lot less in RRE than in AC. I can change to rolling start if people would prefer

As this is a fun race it could be a good opportunity to test it out.

The practice server is up. I have set it to automatic rolling start
FYI - At the race start the game keeps control of everyone as the cars are rolling down the start straight, then when the leader crosses the startline you get control of your car

There is currently a ranked server up with the P2 and GT cars at Mid Ohio (raced it today with Chunky, to bad for my spin).
@SRW: did you look at the BOP (because in the ranked server the RRE class gets 50kg and the Radical 15kg.
@all, will someone participate in the wednesday drive at Mid Ohio (P2 + GT)?
