RACE INFO:
1) OK, we're going to have a return of "variable weather" for this race. H@L has kindly put some effort into creating a weather generator that gives us a "race weather forecast". I'll give a few more details in a couple of days.
2) Stay on the black stuff at T1. If you ride the inside kerb at T1, you will knacker your car 50% of the time! Please try it in testing, while learning the track, so you know what I'm talking about! It's a cracking track other then that kerb, which is basically limiting it to a fun test track only.

Yes. We did one fun race there in the past, I think. If I remember correctly there was a bug with track cutting.

it is a street circuit that has a mix of wide/tight bits. Was recommended to me & I think has a good flow (for a street course). There is an issue with cutting T1.

I've been on server just to try the track and that T1 kerb. Firstly server is on normal fuel, just in case someone forgot to change it to x2 I've tried the kerb in the Panoz and there's nothing wrong for me. Are those yellow bits in the kerb that cause problems? I've gone through there even touching the grass and the Panoz doesn't feel anything wrong. Yeah, I guess I'm in a tank

Lucky you, I might take that car myself! Basically if you're riding/stradling the kerb you might find you bounce of an "invisible brick". As I said, find it in practice & you'll know where it is. I have a feeling that with the F1 on earlier, followed by the World Cup final.... we might be struggling for numbers here

Guys, having twigged the conflict with that little soccer tournament going on, in the interest of keeping the race interesting with a likely smaller field, I've made these changes to the race announcement: Race: 20:40 (40 minutes) - note: no warmup! Fuel consumption: Normal Pit-stops: None. I've also updated the weather bit: Weather: Variable. (Vaguely based on local real world conditions, a pretty accurate generated forecast will be available shortly before the race start)
The word " Vaguely" is used as a disclaimer The words " pretty accurate" are there because H@l has kindly factored a small 'randomness' into his software. As we know, the weatherman doesn't get it spot on every time

hi all, what lap times you guys running here? Terry and I are into the 1.10's without playing to much with the setups. so I guess 1.06 or less for aliens??
that being said I'm not confident that I'll be able to finish this race, every practice stint ends in a blaze of fire or wheels ejecting the hubs. Lots of pokey outey bits catching me out.

Last time we drove here there were 1:04's being done. That's a few years ago, so in the meantime the mod/cars have canged a bit I think, so no clue how representative they are for this race. Obviously I won't do this race as I do have a national team to cheer on

Obviously I won't do this race as I do have a national team to cheer on Nothing can be done against a team with 7 or 8 FC Barcelona players. Iniesta and Xavi together kick some asses Come on! (forgot to say I'm gonna be watching the final of course )

Its certainly a tough track this one. Just need some rain to make it really interesting. I'm also into the 1.10's with the odd 1.09 when I get lucky.
