Quite enjoyable race, seems slow now compared to F1, but cars were closer etc with some sideways action too!

Very enjoyable. It did seem a bit slow at the start but most of these guys haven't raced in years.
No TC either so it was great to see the rear tyres breaking away as they eased on the throttle.
Also enjoyed the good scrap in the midfield with Stuck, Danner, Warwick and a few others
I'd watch it rather than current F1 anyway. Cheesy

Good race spoiled by Motors TV's awful commentators. Watched the rerun on BBC and Murray made it so much more exciting.

I reckon had Prost been there he'd have wiped the floor with the lot of them. Cheesy

Great show from Emmo and Red 5. Grin Cool

Murray is a vital part of the atmosphere imo.
82 yrs of age and still sounding great.

Maybe F1 (Bernie, "I'm only 5'1" because of all my money weighing me down" Ecclestone) should start paying Murray £26,000,000 per year as he can make it more exciting than any driver. Wink Grin

If you were 82, providing you had a decent amount of money (which I'm sure he will by now), why would you, if you didn't want to?

Twas good to hear Murray again. and Fleetwood Mac, but I just got so bored of being told that "these car don't have traction control you know". Hope different tracks offer more overtaking manoeuvres as it seemed like a bit of a procession to me.

aye, they need to be going to some older circuits (and more importantly the older layouts).  But that'll never happen in reality  Sad

Was good racing though, hopefully there'll be a bigger field in future events
