GRRRR. Every time you have a problem Legzy I seem to suffer with it as well! After a stupid error while right up there with team 'nemesis' I got spat out straight into the barriers through the chicane out the back. I was slowly making my way back up the field and aiming at Matt infront of me when my screen went black and had to reset the PC. Gutted. Wanted to just finish tonight as towards the end i was going to struggle on the tyres. Donington should suit it alot better, if i can stay in the top ten at the end i'll be well chuffed.

Had a great race. Qually was already exciting, Busi did a good lap and 3 laps in a row I was a few hundreds of his time, but just couldn't do it this time with a few seconds to spare . Busi had a good start but went off in lap 3 or so, giving me the lead, which I quickly gave to Purdie by going off myself . Then I was behind the Tru...Purdie train for 10 laps or so, trying to figure out how to get past . I had a good run between turn 4 and the McDonalds Curve and got alongside. But I thought it was too risky to overtake there and I only wanted to scrape off some momentum, but got a little nudge from behind so I was pushed back into the manoeuvre . Didn't get the lead from Purds with that, but he ran a bit wide corner later which granted me the lead. Had 2 spins in my run towards the finish, which both almost threw it away . I heard many had a great race, so if you guys want me to make a video, you can post replaytimes and I'll check it out, it's been a while since I've done it .

Thanks for putting up with my fumblings all...was a pig from the start Apologies for being in the wrong place to all who tried overtaking me/ hitting people in the process . Not a fan of this track but at least i had a few laps of racing this time, instead of being abducted by aliens and raced off the planet At least i got my wish .. a lambo on the top step, shame it wont be mine for a few years by the looks of things Congrats to quick blokes.

That was so much fun although I'm a bit sad for losing the race in such a silly way... forgetting to turn into the triple left hander well actually some others did mistakes there too lol Started on pole, kept a good advantage at the start, then threw it away and down to 5th or so. Passed MJ with my super top speed. Then the moment of the race, at the same moment that Jeff took the lead, Jose went off at the left side of the track and TT went of on the right, I went passed both Right behind Purdie then, we also had a good battle (will check for replay times!) but I made another two mistakes. Then I realised it was gonna be 28 and not 27 laps! was 2 litres short of fuel, which I had to safe in the last 4 laps (TAKE THAT MASSA! ) Finished right behind TT after trying to push him a bit Grats Jeff

Wow that Lambo sounds great Thanks for the compliment I made the soundset back then while modding with Auto-Art, but it was kinda rushed cause they all had big plans and blabla, which was kinda the time to step out of it all (now looking back I personally don't really like it anymore, but I'm too lazy fixing it. Still have some footage DVD's from Reiter Engineering Lambo's lying somewhere ) Afterwards someone else modified mostly the external sound files and somehow the startup noise (which was perfect ), check GameData\Sounds\Gallardo\gallardoex_startup.wav for the original one (though being the external mono one, you'll get the idea).

Another "almost" race for me. Almost did some practice before the race but kept getting sidetracked. Almost made a working setup but then wimped out of putting softs on for the race despite being reasonably sure they'd last. It seemed okay for the first 10 minutes or so and I almost held Prof off until running wide through T1. But after 15 or 20 minutes, once the front left side tyres started to wear the lack of any temperature in the front right destroyed the car's balance and it became a major handful. Almost held Spanner up after his off until I again ran wide trying to manhandle the car around and let him though. Then just had RAD to hold up, and was again just about doing so until I ran slightly wide out of the penultimate corner, and couldn't scrub off enough speed before reaching the final turn and ran directly into the tyres. Pulled off and at first I thought everything was okay until I checked to see if anyone was approaching from behind and noticed the huge plume of smoke! Engine health 1%. Almost gone. Hmm. Tried to drive back round to the pits on the grass but only got as far as the right hander after the triple left before reaching an impenetrable fortress of gravel and giving up. At least I now know that for Sunday's Endurance race I need to change the gears a bit more, add wing and jack the rear up.

that was a humdinger of a race from lights to flag Qually battle was tight with the top 5 all in the 25's. Couldnt match my pB of 1:25.126 but was happy enough with 5th considering my wheel is playing up. It was action all the way as soon as the lights went green and i attacked TT as much as i dared whilst keeping an eye on Legz behind me. After a few laps Legzy dropped back and i attacked TT a fair bit though i was scared stiff of rear ending him on this tight and twisty track, getting rather too close a few times when he got a bit out of shape and decided to hang back a tad. Had a perfect view of the inter car battles going on in the top 4 ahead with me on the end of the train and think i got upto 3rd or 4th a couple of times as people ran a bit wide. Couldnt hold off Busi's recovering, flying Panoz and was hoping his tyres would go off near end but it never happened. Enjoyed a climactic battle with purds porker for 4th place for last 8-10 mins, attacking him at every corner, but i couldnt stay close enough through those chicanes on my very worn tyres. My front left was down to the threads i think ! and i decided as much as i wanted to get past him, i didnt want to throw the car off in the process and lose my well earned 5th. Wish i had stayed closer though as he ran wide a couple of times in dying laps Great fighting Purds, we crossed the line about 3/10ths apart !! Congrats to Jeff (cursed alien ) , Busi and TT for their great podium finishes.
