Is it normal for the lights to be on in this kind of racing during the day?
Yes, this is correct.

I don't really believe you can feel half this stuff in a game either because you have to rely totally on steering feedback, sound effects and visuals, you don't get any genuine feel of what the car is doing. They do seem to miss the fact that this is not reality and as such we need a bit of help! The feel through the wheel and through the seat is 90% of the experience. Recently I did 30 laps in a GT4 car at Kenilworth test track and racing last night on a sim was a very different experience -- much harder!! Thanks for hosting chaps. Really enjoyed that. Sadly the crappy new FFB in these NTM cars doesn't help the experience. The complete lack of feel of what the tyres are doing makes it bloody hard work. The race was still a lot of fun though. Not seen the results posted (might have missed them..) so here they are RESULTS

Nice video, I was in in my Italian tricolor GT when you lapped me at Spoon, luckily in that occasion I didn't anything wrong Anyway the GT is a very difficult car to tame at the beginning, it took a lot of laps to me to be a minimum confident. In the race I used Basic Silverstone setup, it seemed to me better in the esses than Glen one. Anyway in these kind of races the challenge is driving watching forever in the mirrors to not cut the way to the lappers LMPs, apologize for some misundarstanding happened in the process. Ciao

Lazlow, that does beggar the question "if they know all that why is it not implemented in the base setups?". However know that and implementing it are 2 different things I agree Pete. I had a go with the Skippy @ Okayama and the base setup was awful, I was spinning off at nearly every corner. I then found this guide and every setup tweak I did I went faster and faster, as well as improving the stability of the car.

The base setup for the GT is horrible. Don't dismiss the car yet. It's early days and setups have yet to be refined.
Really gutted that I got chucked out, I was looking forward to this race.
I'll see y'all next week.

Really enjoyed that race despite the fact I was struggling just to drive the car! Had 3 major spins and only one resulted in a fast tow. Managed to get up to 6th overall and remarkably it was the only online race at Suzuka I have had with no stuttering. Hosted Sessions must be unaffected. Hopefully the season I'm sure will mature into a great spectacle! It shows promise

Because the results haven't been posted so the system doesn't know the event has happened.

I think I was one of those GTs. However it's hard to see the cars in your mirror while trying to spot braking/turn-in points and because you were coming back up through the field no blue flags are shown. It's not easy for us either I take it all back....i had a go in a GT40.....they are a handful, prone to running wide........exits are the best time to pass, I did 2 24hrs of fun and got the hang of passing no prob

Myeah... people were still getting used to the cars though. From what I've seen at Silverstone this week next race should be miles better in that regard
