Team Psuedo can announce that half of it is wayy off the pace with 55.9 and 56.1 respectively in 904-6 and TVR respectively Jag is 57s not tried Locust. Will probably take the 904-6 being as I haven't run it yet anywhere.

Bill, I think your final gearing ratio has to depend on if/when your hitting the limiter at the end of that long start/finish straight
Also the fuel figure I gave in an earlier post did not take into account the fuel modifier so I would say the fuel used would be under 3 litres per lap. Plus after some driving in the Elan I'm unable to get anywhere close to the quoted 1:52's. But I expect some drivers will.
Thanks Tony. I'm correctly geared but hoped that I had another higher ratio available - there isn't. Had a quick look at track today with an all Elan practice field they were in the 1:50 to 1:52 bracket, rode with them and no way am I going to be able to match that. :'( So I guess it's more practice, tinker with my trusted setup and hope to find more speed. Looking at some of the times I guess I'll be lapped at least once so fuel should be OK at 3x13 laps.

I managed a 1:54 once yesterday night in the Elan but mostly it's consistent 1:55's. I wouldn't expect you to pit more than once unless you suffer damage. Send me a pm if you want my setup and I'll sort that tonight.

Still crawling around at 1:56,6 in the TVR, 1:56,75 in the 904/6 and 1:57,7 in the 904/4. Really don't know yet which car to choose. Don't want to take the Elan again. Hope to make it in time for tomorrow's event. Btw: one of my favorite tracks although I'm not the fastest there.

Probably your last chance to drive the Porsche at a UKGTL event this year, if that helps you make your mind up

Is the practice server up and running now ?
I don't see it in the Lobby, but that might be due to my reinstalling GTL.
It's set fir simulation, and I did install the lobby fix.
Anything else I missed ?

Just joined the server with no problems. A pretty hard track to learn IMO, I couldn't get anywhere the laptimes mentioned earlier in this thread. 1.54.xx was my best shot. I met some GTL-Legends out there tonight, and I was relieved to see, that they also had problems learning their way around the track I hope I can make it back for tomorows race, if not I hope you have fun. Crikey you haven't made this easy for us part timers Tony Track is fast as hell and it all looks the same. That said, when I finally worked where it all was, awesomely fast and flowing in the TVR. Did I mention that this track is fast?

I'll be in the 54-55 camp in the ladies Elan. Very tough (& fast ) track this to learn.

54s in the 904 which is nice through those sweeping corners, but the TVR will have the grunt where it matters I reckon. Should be a good un....just hope I can make it as it's looking a bit 50/50 atm.

IMPORTANT
It appears that for some time the practise server has been running with the fuel modifier set to 3x and not the race setting of 2x.
I would suggest that all drivers check their fuel consumption rates in the online practise session now running.

Yes that was my original fuel problem. Good news is that fuel consumption is now OK and in an offline race just broke into the 1:56s {couple of setup tweaks). Only problem is I'm still a carp driver and terribly inconsistent, put in a batch of good laps followed by a batch of "off track" laps.
