Couple of laps last night. This version fels a bit different from others i've driven, more like a rollercoaster as the seems a greater height change with the hills on this one so its thowing me off a bit. Need more front temps here, but not sure how, too much understeer at low speed.

Had a little go yesterday to learn the track, but that took quite a while Don't know if its the track and the elavation or just the Ferrari, but the breaking is terrible with all these corners in braking zones. Took me a while to find a somewhat decent racing line, still not quite satisfied with it. Found a good example of a how-to with a Nissan GT3 car; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMuy382i2I0Actually the mediums weren't so bad this time around with the Ferrari. I could keep most of them on temperature except the front right which would go on and off. Although I think it might have to do with the fact I was sliding all over the place ( and not in a fast way )

Just did some laps, took some getting used to but overall I do really like the track, though it seems the elevation in this version is a bit exagerated! Also whats with the massive bump at T10 or Craig Jones corner? Checked the videos and it seems there's maybe a few small bumps, but in this version its one massive one - quite easy to unsettle the car there. Looking forward to this one though, reminds me of my days before AC when I played the Grid games was a fun track back then too.

http://stracker.simracing.org.uk:50041/lapstat( I really should bookmark this!) Was running softs last night which had better temps but getting there is horrible for a few laps. Yes, braking isnt easy, keep losing the back, surly 62% cant be giving more too much rear bias?

I think its the track limits. It seems its quite unforgiving calling corner cutting. I've done 32 laps and it has only registered 8 of them. Some of them seem abit over the top, just hitting the curbs and I'm getting a penalty in offline.

Am hopeful of getting on tonight around 9pm for more practise, haven't actually done many laps. Need to work out where the hidden cut-tracks are!

Must be something about this 3rd party track. I tried briefly an older setup and it felt no different and time wasn't too far off! Seemed it was more just technicque, more front brake bias to stop it losing the back, don't brake late and overstress the tyre trying to turn in. Does feel like the grip isn't there, maybe its track?
Managed to do a 46.4 but it didn't count, couple of laps were around the 47.0. but its going to come down to how smooth and relaxed I can be!

Yeah cracked ribs courtesy of a 'charity' football match ...someone always takes it too seriously. Last time I suffered similar was in a charity go kart race when someone put me into the tyre wall think I'll give up on being charitable Practise went okay last night so will attempt to complete the race distance, if not I may retire later in the race. I would say this track is definitely about technique due to its severe undulations and a couple of blind crest corners I'm suffering under steer in the downhill braking zones too so it's all hope and see. Looking at stracker it's sector 2 I'm dropping 1second to the cars in front and just behind me so work to do there.
