All members welcome. Grid/server capacity: 28 Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins) Race: 20:40 (32 laps) Track: Jarama Download thisCars allowed: BMW 2002tii Download this, Porsche 911 RSR 3.0, Ford Escort RS 2000, Boss 302 Ford Mustang Download thisThis race will be run using the UKGTL Skin Pack 1.8.0.0 and the Season 10 Skin Pack which will need to be installed prior to racing. Drivers are reminded that the maximum number of drives in any car is four. Check your status hereTime of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Server: simracing.org.uk GTC Password: see aboveNotes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. (4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings pageSpecial Notes: None

Done a few laps in the Beemer - no fun, too cammy, can't find the right gear for the slower corners. Oh dear what shall I drive?

The download is in an exe. format and includes a self installer. That has probably triggered your anti-virus software. Go ahead and install and then double click the exe. file. The track will be download into your GTL providing you tell it where your GTL is on your computer.

I get the same problem. Windows/Norton seem to object when a little used server is selected - they have no data base experience, so they try and stop you. I use the Run anyway option and it's been OK so far.

After a bit more practise in the BMW I think I'll take that tomorrow. Although it's never a dull moment I find it actualy helps on those tight curves when it tries to spin itself around. Try the revs at 9800. Seemed not to bad to me.

I'll take the BMW too - already for the third time - not yet decided which version. 1.37.5 in the 2002iis, 1.38.5 in the 2002ii (first track where I'm able to handle this one), using a setup, DeMartini kindly posted in the online section tonight (thank you again ). Feeling very good for me. Looking forward for tomorrows event. BTW - no problems with downloading and installing the track - using Avira Free Antivirus

Tried them all, and the only thing I can get round more than a lap without spinning is the 302, I have tried full coast diff and max rear grip to no avail. So. 1:39s in Mustang 1:35.7 in the Beemer, hmm ok I take the beemer

Welcome De Martini You can do as many or as few events as you like, no problem Half the field seem to be using your Beemer setup, so you might as well come along as well
