As P&G installs it stops at the various tracks that have been updated by UKGTR, and states it has encountered an error, and do I wish to proceed anyway. Do I need a fresh install of GTR2 for P&G to pick up the files from? or should I continue with the install anyway?

Yeah, i had that which i think was the track texture files it stopped at. I clicked proceed and it did actually seem to copy all the right files for the tracks so i wouldnt worry about it.

Tried the 289 Cobra yesterday, and blow me, it was more forgiving to drive than the GTL one.  Didn't expect that.  Felt pretty good.  Ade was on in an Elan and the pace of the two cars seemed very even around Anderstorp, so I think the modders have done a great job of getting the same performance balance as in GTL.  We can look forward to the same ding dong fights between makes we had in GTL.  Grin

Can someone tell me what the differences are re: tyres between this and GTL or must I read the 14 page PDF?

Much more tyres to choose from... and wet weather tyres  Grin

The PDF isn't that bad. Lots of background info if you are interested (or skip). There's a 1 pager somwhere with a step-by-step approach.
Basically it depends on the tyrebrand which can be viewed in the showroom (no brand = dunlop); Look which tyres are available and choose one from the table.

ps. default HARD. MEDIUM, etc tyres are there for AI purposes  and should not be selected.

Anyone who's not yet downloaded, I used the single EXE from the GTL Workshop site - came down at about 3-400Kb/s so pretty quick - http://simjunkies.net/powerandgloryv2/Power&Glory%20v2.00.exe

~70Kb/s for me. Sad

Anyone know if you need to patch GTR2 up to 1.1 before installing P&G.

                                         Thanks Ade

Er...how do you make a second install of GTR2? I've already installed the UKGTR files on the one I've got so I can't copy it. Undecided
